I have never written a review before so bear with me. I have spent 3 months waiting to get my MacBook computer screen fixed. I have never received a call from them, I was always the one to reach out. I dropped it off during the summer before classes started again. Unfortunately, when I reached out to Will, I informed him of my frustration of it being 3 months and that classes have already started while I'm struggling to find access to a computer. I informed him that I disagreed with paying the rest of the fee (when I had already paid 200 when I dropped the computer off) if the computer is not fixed. 2 previous times the owner stated the screen was suppose to be coming in but was delayed. Once they stopped returning my calls I went back to the store and found that my computer was the exact same it was when dropped off (this incident was about a week or two ago). I called today and discussed with the owner (Will) that if my computer was not fixed with a discounted rate then I would appreciate a full refund. The full refund is what he agreed on and will be picking the computer up Tuesday. I don't mind being told when you are unable to complete a service- but I do mind lack of transparency. 3 months is time I could never get back and unfortunately Will did not agree to remedy the issue with a discounted rate. That means even with the extra 3 months that I have been waiting for my computer to be fixed, he believes I should still pay the remaining 175-200 after my computer is fixed.....whenever that is.    Read moreThe repair guy is knowledgeable and knows his trade, but the young guy that greets customers needs a training on customer service. He can't answer questions about the price of repairs, can't give time frames for how long repairs will take. He also tried to sell me a phone that wouldn't take a charge or stay powered up long enough to see if it would work with my provider. My retired 70 year old mom took her phone up (40 miles round trip) for a simple screen repair. They said they could fix it. They ordered a new screen, we brought the phone back (second 40 mile round trip) for them to fix it. After an hour they had the new screen installed but with no touch response. The old screen was destroyed in the first attempt so it could not be put back on. We waited around until 1:00pm on a Friday for a call with an update until finally we called them only to be told they had tried to replace the screen three times with no success. Another 40 mile round trip to the store to find out they actually repaired the screen and that it works. If the phone continues to work as advertised, I will change this rating.
I called in defense of my mother and was met with an unprofessional attitude. They were adamant about not replacing the phone if it could not be fixed. My position was only to defend my mother against being taken advantage of. Again, if the screen performs the way it should, I will change...
   Read moreI took my phone to these crooks because it wouldn't power back up one morning after waking up! The battery died overnight because I left it on having only 3% battery life. So the next morning it would not come back on after charging to a 100% charge. I took it to these crooks and asked them to fix the power button because I knew that was the problem, they asked if I could leave the phone for them to check it out for an hour. Once I returned to get it he told me the phone was missing a main chip that operate the phone and the problem was my charging port lol. So I sent the phone back to T-Mobile and they charging now for the replacement because the phone has been gutted of all the vital parts.. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING TO THESE CROOKS, THEY TOOK MY PHONE PARTS OUT MY PHONE TO FIX OTHER PHONES... and I'm also reporting them now to the Better...
