Pizza City — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I have ordered from this place for 20 years, and even gave 5 stars AFTER new ownership bought it, but I now after 20 years had the most disgusting pizza I ever had last night. The old owne4 kept it simple but what the original owner did better than anyone is EVERY PIZZA WAS CONSISTENT at a value price.... last night I ordered a sicilian pizza, now it came hot and looked great, but when I bit into it the dough was CHEWY, the dough came off in LAYERS like I was eating a pastry, the cheese tasted cheap and on top of not delivering your order in a hot truck like they were always known for. I never in 20 years Have a pizza this bad FROM THIS PLACE, my advice to ownership, ya bought the name you shouldn't have changed the pizza recipe this place made it so long and so good for so many years for a reason, bring that owner back to help you fix it or it's never gonna make it long, not being rude just being honest, the last few times I ordered THE SAME PIZZA ALL 3 TIMES and all 3 tasted difference, people don't like ģuessing which one will show up this time with...

I recently had the pleasure of ordering from Pizza City Pizza on Frankford Ave, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This was my third time ordering from them, and each time has been better than the last. The service is always phenomenal - everyone in the restaurant is incredibly friendly and attentive.

Today, I ordered two pizzas - one plain and one chicken fajita - and both were cooked to perfection. The chicken fajita pizza, in particular, was bursting with flavor and had just the right amount of spice. I also ordered fries, onion rings (which were the good ones with whole onions), mild buffalo wings, and jalapeño poppers. Everything was delicious - the wings were cooked perfectly, the sauce was amazing, and the jalapeño poppers were a tasty addition to the meal.

Overall, I highly recommend Pizza City Pizza to anyone who loves delicious food and great service. The quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff make this restaurant stand out from the rest. I will definitely be back for...

Food has still been great but I am noticing a slipping a little bit since new owner. I don't like the new menu. I like the smaller menu with all the things that they were great at making at a value price. But now with the bigger menu it seems like they're trying to compete with other places with bigger menus. Put all that does is stressed out the cooks because they have more to make when they have a smaller menu they were able to make what they were good at exceptionally well add an affordable rate. They made the menus bigger and up to the prices on all the food items but I don't think it is actually help them any. The reason why Pizza City did so good for 30+ years is because they focused in on what they were good at and provided at a cheap price. And let's not forget that they said open later than all the other places. I hope the new owners go back to...
