My wife and I have had pizza from all through the US. We can say, without a doubt, that Pizza Richmond is the best pizza we have ever had. To me, it is irrefutable.
The attention to detail is noticeable. You can tell that they really care about what they are doing. The dough, the cheese, the sauce, the toppings: it has been perfected. Shokunin through and through. For pizza lovers, this is a must try. For those who have never been to the Philadelphia area, this is enough of a reason to stop by.
Don't skip out on dessert. Just when you think they've hit the ceiling, Pizza Richmond also has some of the best soft serve ice cream in existence. We had their seasonal flavors, dark chocolate and banana, and we were stunned.
The vibe itself was fantastic. The gentleman manning the restaurant behind the register was playing some immaculate music. The interior blends old school diner with japandi architecture. An array of plants and table top games. Warm lighting. BYOB encouraged. It makes you feel like you're visiting a friend's house.
This place is a true gem. I would line up for hours just for a slice and some soft serve. I'll be thinking about it everyday until I return to Philly. Thanks...
Read more2 slices and 2 cans of soda $18. Amazing dough, it's crispy with no flop and actually has great flavor and not too yeasty. Perfect sauce, tomatoes with some seasonings, not too sweet. Great cheese and amount. I got the veggie special, she got the plain. Special was top 5 best slices I ever had, and I visit NY just for the pizza places. Great atmosphere and great food ($27 plain pie). 2nd best pizza in phila right now behind circle&squares ($18 plain pie, smaller I know). The prices are just too high for me when you got places like circle&squares and og that are local and putting out 9.0 pies for $10 less (Schacks $28 and too sweet and rude!). I know the size difference but it's not a $10 difference. Besides the price, this is one of the best places to go, if you want some of the best pizza in the country not just the city. If they sold their dough, it would be marketed in local stores in a few months. It's...
Read moreI’ve had a couple slices 2 or 3 times so far and was happy with wat I got. I was even given a free slice the one time I went because the cashier felt one of the 2 I bought was “small” lol which I felt was in no way shape or form it was small so I really appreciated that! I understand they may use better ingredients and I feel the price of the slices if pretty fair for wat u get, I just can’t see myself paying 30$ for a pie wen I can get a pie, 12 wings, a cheesesteak and a soda for that price. I’m gonna return many times (not just because I live across the street lo) but because the slice was phenomenal in my opinion and I managed a pizza shop in fishtown for 4 years wen I was younger. Only thing I would suggest to the management is to make the chard crust an option other than that, keep doing ur think my man!! P.s. would love it if they were...
