Rio Acai & Snacks — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Definitely recommend.All I can say is WOW! My wife and I decided to check this place out after leaving planet fitness. This is now going to be part of our gym routine. They have salads, smoothies, açaí all fresh. The staff was very helpful and friendly! They had a lot of Brazilian snacks and appetizers. I highly highly recommend the potato balls stuffed with meat and cream cheese. We also got their Brazilian cheesesteak, strawberry and banana smoothie, ginger smoothie, coconut water, coffee (for tomorrow) and a customized salad. I will update this review when I taste the cheesesteak later tonight. They also deliver ! You can find them on doordash, grub hub,etc.

If I could give this store a -20 I would. I walked into Rio for some chips only to be followed like a criminal. I had my ID visible on my coat money in my hand, but I was followed by the store clerk. Watching me as I looked at the chips that were all set to expire in one week. I will not be going back to this store. Brazilians are people of color but you watch me. I am disappointed and second I will not pay bloated prices for snacks for them to expire in one week. I understand that food can still be good after the expred date but for these prices I expect much more. Shopping here at your own risk. The restaurant was nice and the staff was very sweet but personally, I wouldn't come back. The food was "blah" to say the least. Flavor was severely lacking and quality just felt and tasted subpar and for the prices i was expecting more than what i received I guess.
