Place is super clean, staff nice Quality of food is average. One thing I hate at this place. We did dine in, and the guy at the register added 20% gratuity automatically to the bill. When we asked for the receipt, he provided a receipt that doesn't show all the individuals items and taxes. I saw him type 20% tips on his tablet. In America, tips are up to the customer. You cant decide to include 20% tips. 20% is a lot, knowing the restaurant was empty when we were there. I usually tip between 0% and 20% depending on service, but you cant's add 20% tip to the bill. The food is real authentic Egyptian exactly like what you would eat in Egypt. We tried Mahshi, Kushari, grilled chicken, Hawawshi, Pot Kebab, and Shawirma.

It is easily the best Shawerma we have eaten in Philly so far. Mahshi is like no other place, real and authentic. Kushari is real and authentic. Pot Kebab is amazing if you like strong flavored lamb meat. Juice is fresh and refreshing. The servers really care about the food quality.

Absolutely fabulous 🤩 Egyptian restaurant. They are truly amazing people. It was so delicious my husband and I ate here for 3 nights straight during our stay in Pennsylvania. Everything is homemade. Service is out of this world. If I could give their food 10 stars I would. We tried a little bit of everything. First time eating koshari and it's my favorite.
