Iāve tried a few places in the city, I would order from here again; not my #1 but so far my #2.
Vegetable samosa (cooked potato & peas in essentially a deep fried pastry) were excellent but the lamb samosa was dry - dipping sauces were good and 2 large portions per order.
Chicken tikka Marsala (chicken in a tomato/onion based creamy sauce) had a wonderful creamy, thick sauce and large chicken chunks but the chicken was very slightly over cooked. Asked for not spicy and I think it was perfect but it was still a little spicy for my fiancĆ© (Note: heās extremely sensitive to heat).
Dahi Aloopapri (chickpeas in a sour lemon juice with yogurt and parsley, topped with crispy small fried chip like wonton things) - excellent and a really unique flavor. *First time trying this dish so nothing to compare it to. Would order again.
Garlic naan was good but onion kulchua (bread stuffed with onion) was soggy and the onions were mushy.
Over all would order again but recommend doordash if possible, sketchy neighborhood but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy first time eating here was today, and I cannot speak any higher of the dish I had!! The chicken was incredibly tender!!! I would say fall off the bone but it was already off of the bone served in the dish lol. Wonderful Tikka Masala Flavor profile, and my all-time favorite Saffron Rice! It has been so difficult finding a restaurant with Saffron rice that comes with their dishes; not sure if itās because places donāt advertise what kind of rice is served, but thatās actually how I found out about Saffron Indian Cuisine was from a google search for restaurants with saffron rice. Luck enough, I was in for a treat and found my new favorite restaurant. Also, I typically have found that I like tikka masala when it has more of a bright orange color to it, so I was majorly surprised how much I loved the darker red/orange sauce. Spectacular job ā¤ļø Edit: Still my favorite Indian place a whole year later!! The Chicken Korma is my favorite thing on the menu here, and my bfās favorite is Lamb Tawa Masala. Bob...

The mulligatawny had great flavor but is a tiny bit salty but works great over rice. The meat samosas were THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. Huge chunks of lamb so tender like I've never experienced. More tender than filet mignon. Just melting in your mouth and the sauce inside was soooo flavorful. These were huge! Like 2 were practically a meal! Fluffy thick dough. The lemon cashew rice was alright. Not as much flavor as the dish gives the impression of description-wise and visually but it's a nice gentle blend. Not many cashews. Just tiny scarce pieces. The green cilantro sauce and tangy vinegar brown sauce r both amazingggg as well. The Malai kabob is ridiculously tender, juicy, and flavorful. The rasmalai was delicious and sweet but not too sweet and the other flavors underneath were delightful. Will...
