Long story short, my family and I grew up going here. Now that we moved out of town, we make it a point to visit Two Brothers everytime we come to Philly. I always look forward to a delicious two brothers steak when coming to town. I and my family spend at least $70 everytime we visit.
We always recommended them to anyone who asks 😁.
However, the last two times I've been is making me reconsider finding a new pizza shop to be loyal to.
This evening, June 19, 2021; whoever answers the phone needs to be FIRED. Seriously.
Upon pulling up to the restaurant, I phoned in an order for pick up. It was approx 5:15 informs me that pick up orders are no longer accepted past 5. She then insists I need to have it delivered to an address I actually live at (I'm from out of town and staying at a hotel well outside of the delivery range.). It would make more sense to just deliver it to us curbside. I was parked across the street, and I would think it'd be easier to give it to us at our car that driving to a delivery address 45 mins. Again, I'm from out of to and was stopping by to grab food. It sounds like a stupid policy to me.
Because it sounded so ludicrous, I politely said to the woman who answered the phone that it sounds like she just didn't want to serve orders for whatever reason. And she replies raising her voice at me- I hung up rather than get equally nasty.
I just felt she was giving me the runaround and making excuses to not take my order. ..............
At a previous time; I called for delivery (we were staying closer to the area at the time of visit). That same receptionist answered the phone telling me the address was outside the delivery range.
Mind you: we've gotten Two Brothers deliveries to that same address in question TWICE prior that same week.
So you guys delivered to the address we were staying twice, and suddenly it's out of your delivery range?
When I bought this up, she tried to tell me there was another Two Brothers that did those deliveries 😆😆😆. Knowing damn well there IS no other Two Brothers. .............
I'm done with this place. It's a shame because the food is amazing.
However,
It seems like the rules change according to what side of the bed your receptionist woke up on.
One day you guys deliver to a certain address, the next day you don't.
One day you accept pick up orders past 5, the next day you don't.
I guess it depends on what mood "Karen's" in.🙄
She needs some professionalism training on how to TALK to customers because clearly she hasn't had it.
You guys just lost a group of LOYAL customers.
Pizzaerias and Cheesesteak shops are a dime a dozen here.
We are happy to take our money ELSEWHERE.
I'm not the first one with these SAME complaints. Read a few of the recent reviews, and you'll find...
Read moreVery disappointed with my Two Brothers experience today. Would give zero stars if it was an option!
Placed a delivery order for a chicken cheesesteak Stromboli and fries. When the food arrived it Chicken Cheesesteak and fries…Okay!
The delivery driver was very apologetic and offered to take the food back. I never feel comfortable sending back food anywhere. Paid for the order and called Two Brothers to let someone know.
The woman I spoke with had a snappy attitude and stated “I said the order incorrectly to the person that took the order!”
I was taken aback because I’ve always said the same exact thing over the phone at Two Brothers. A chicken cheesesteak Stromboli! Every single time it has never been a problem…Until today!
No apology was offended; just attitude during our telephone exchange!
Shared “I didn’t call to cause an issue, just wanted you to know! Definitely wasn’t trying to go back in fourth, especially being the person who received the wrong order!” 🤷🏽♀️
Basically, I was told I said it wrong being the reason for receiving the wrong food. Instead listening to a Customer who was not made however, ended up with a wrong order!
Then she says “I’ll remake the Chicken Stromboli but it’s $3.00 more! So send back the incorrect food received plus $3.00 when the driver comes!” 😳
I’m so done! This exchange was totally unprofessional/unacceptable!
I shared with the women, her attitude about the matter makes me not what to order from there again!” Her response was “That’s fine!”
It could have all been so simple! I didn’t want anything additional! Ultimately, these businesses can’t treat people any kind of way!
She was still arguing her point, ended the call by saying have a nice day.
Establishments need to be held accountable!
I will not order or recommend Two Brothers again. Thank you for reading my...
Read moreBunch of non professionals, owners treat their workers like slaves and are racists. Chef never wears gloves. They be all sick and sneezing around the food, no mask 🤢 they charge extra money for dumb stuff like $3 for green peppers in a Stromboli, and $5 for beef products on 1/2 a pizza 🤦🏾♀️ just so unreasonable. Don’t use card at their location because they ask for your billing address and zip code, they write your card numbers down and save them for god knows what 🤷🏾♀️ like I said, not safe and unprofessional. The doors are only closed after 5 because the Owner’s girlfriend talked to me all crazy on the phone and I pulled up to the store ready to fight. Just poor customer service all around. Got people standing in the cold and the rain cause the owner’s girlfriend is scared!! Boohoo, should’ve thought about that when you gave out that poor customer service. How are you even making money anyway with that kind of strategy? I called the store for delivery and asked for a can soda and gonna lie and say there was no can sodas. So instead I picked up and there was a whole fridge next to the register filled with can sodas!! They’re so cheap and broke that they lie about the products they sell 😂 they bully everybody they work with and the employees are dumb enough to tolerate it because they need them so bad 😂 the owners may seem nice, but they’re evil people. I would be miserable too if I had to run a store all day everyday like that. You tend to lose feeling and emotion to the food, the customers, and your employees. Just a bunch of miserable and money hungry people...
