UPDATING MY REVIEW.... the sandwich I identified below is no longer (according to their menu online) and has been replaced by a different sandwich. yay and they have an actual breakfast sandwich. I haven't tried but I will give it another go!
OLD REVIEW: I got the Sunshine is your Love sandwich and it was okay / meh. The eggs were a weird fluffy texture and the pastrami was fine and grilled, but overall was super salt forward. Not my favorite thing for the first meal of the day. The bread was fine but overall I can only stomach about half of the sandwich before I put it back in the bag and called it quits.
Hopefully theyâll have better breakfast sandwiches in the future and more reasonably priced. Total with tax, my sandwich was just under $15. :/ probably wonât be back unless itâs for the biscuit lady.
Also, menu is super hard to read and needs to be redesigned. Itâs all...
Read moreThis sandwich spot just opened up in the Wissahickon area of Philadelphia and I finally had the chance to try it.
I ordered the âSweet Jasmineâ and the âLove Childâ. The âSweet Jasmineâ is basically a caprese sandwich that has pesto. The ingredients tasted fresh but the bread couldâve been better. I wish they were more generous with the ingredients because the sandwich was a lot more bread. It tasted good overall but was nothing special.
The âLove Childâ has chicken, bacon, green peppers, onions and provolone. I ordered it without onions but it came with onions so that was disappointing. I thought it could use more flavor overall because the chicken flavor overpowered the other ingredients (or maybe add less chicken but more peppers, bacon, etc).
Overall, I wasnât blown away and donât think either was...
Read moreGreat place great people! I came through cuz I got a coupon at my train stop the other day which was an awesome marketing campaign since the train stop is right there My note: be open at 7 if you serve coffee/breakfast, right? Especially on weekdays. Honestly, 6am would be ideal since ya serve coffee too. The trains come every hour at the XX:37 mark so it'll be the best when the spot can hit on the way to the train stop. Lisa's is gone and they were the only place open in walking distance open that early. There is a hole to fill. They had truckloads of union guys getting sandwiches at 5am and people in there constantly when they were open. Maybe there's a legal reason y'all can't be open earlier which I don't know about....
