Dawson Street Pub is the absolute best place to relax, grab a drink, and eat some delicious food after a long day. Happy hour is awesome, 50% off drafts. Have you ever met a friend that has your exact unique taste in beer? Because that's the experience at Dawson Street Pub for me, the draft list has clearly been carefully curated to provide a diverse selection of beers you would be hard-pressed to find at any other local bar. I've tried everything on tap and have to say I love it all.

The atmosphere here is also as unique as the draft list, it feels like you're right at home, and the music choice is eclectic and has you vibing every time.

As a vegetarian and soon-to-be vegan, the options here are incredible, especially during happy hour. The seitan wings are the best I've ever had, and I come back time and time again for them. The hummus platter is phenomenal (the pita isn't burnt anymore!!) and provides a nutritious side to the wings.

Last but not least, the service here is impeccable. The bartenders are all extremely friendly and more than happy to give recommendations or engage in conversation. Shout-out to Heather who has always entertained my "surprise me" beer requests, and has come through with home run selections each and every time.

The selections on tap and in bottles were great. I can't be thankful enough that in a landscape of boring bars serving pilsners, pale ales, and ipas, Dawson Street has an interesting and excellent selection of beers on tap! The sweet potato fries are different from any I've had before, and I absolutely loved them. I also had the vegan wings and they were really, really good. Though we sat at a table, we went up to the bar to order food (which is fine with me). I appreciated that the bartender was knowledgeable about the beers on tap. My only complaint is that the music was really loud and it was difficult to have a conversation. It was a Wednesday night, and the open mic was really pretty bad. I hate to say this because I want everybody to get up and get a chance to perform, but maybe playing in a band with some good musicians who can cover your mistakes is a better place to start and sending someone up there with a guitar and their voice. Or -and I realize this is an awkward position to put everybody in- maybe having some auditions first to see if people should play in the first place? I've been to quite a few open mics and this was one of the worst. Sorry! Otherwise, this would have been an easy five...

LOVE this place! Used to live within walking distance. Wings were great! They used (moved away 6 years ago, not sure if they still do) give a dipping sauce with the fries that was amazing! Asked the bartender, he wouldn't divulge. It tasted like a mustard base, who knows? Anyway, $1 Yuengling Premium pints during Phils games! I TRULY MISS Philadelphia! Been to a lot of major US metropolises, Philly is in my top 3! Greatest people on the planet! Live in the south now. If I hear "bless your heart" one more time, holy hell!
