Heard so many great things about Dottie’s Donuts and unfortunately my donuts were not good.
Firstly, the shop itself was warmer than 80 degrees. It was hot in there. I got 3 donuts - vanilla sprinkle, oreo and blueberry for $10 (kinda pricey). As you can see, the vanilla sprinkle left a lot to be desired. There was no vanilla frosting and a couple of sprinkles? It was also very chewy… odd.
Maybe this location had an off day but I was confused as to how this place has rave reviews when it was quite literally the worst...

Read moreI think this is a cute cozy spot for vegans, but if you are not vegan, what you will get is a good (but not excellent) tasting classic donut for about $3 a pop. Flavors are delicate, so opt for boston creme to get more out of your experience. But no point in spending $48 (this is what a dozen assorted varieties cost me) to please a family gathering.
