I dont know where to start with this review. It was one of the most bizarre dining experiences I have had, including dining in foreign countries where I dont speak the language.

The staff was amiable, greeted us with a menu, and asked if we wanted coffee. We said yes, and no coffee came. Waters arrived, and still no coffee. We didn't have a chance to review the menu, but the server waited for us to place the order. We asked for coffee again and were prompted with cream and sugar, to which we said yes. The coffees arrived, but they were in to-go cups premade. Ok.

They kept pushing their fresh OJ to our son. We said no, no less than four times. It must be some OJ. We ordered two breakfast Sammies, a pancake, and two eggs for our child. The sandwich was quite good. The pancake, not so much. It was more of a buckwheat (no fluffiness) and was drenched with syrup. Oh well. The eggs were more of an omelet than the two scrambled we asked for.

We asked for utensils and got a fork each. We asked for a knife and got one—still no napkins, which we asked for 2x. Finally, napkins arrived. 2 sauces arrived at our table with no labels. I'm going with hot sauce and maybe a ketchup.

There was NO one else eating here at 10 a.m. on a Saturday. Perhaps that should have been a sign. It felt like we were in a Twilight Zone episode. When we left, the entire staff came to say goodbye. As I said, very friendly. I can't say we will be back, but it was an experience.

As others have stated, a 4% credit card fee which is a bit high since I dont think any credit card fees are 3%. They make it clear...

Placed an online order, arrived and there was nothing to pick up. Communicated to the owner my order, when it came out it was the wrong order. I came back in and told him it's not what I ordered, then the owner proceeded to blow up on me and tell me that's what I told him it was and to never come back. I simply asked for the correct order or if he could give me my money back. He totally lost his cool.

Pretty sure the sweet couple eating outside saw this and left shortly after. I put my hands out in shock to the cook, he came out and helped me and looked through the order history and then made me my food. I will personally never come back, there are more details that I won't bother to elaborate on. It was my first visit and will be my last (the owner's getting his wish). I hope the owner learns to treat his customer's better or I'm sure I will not be the last.

Thank you to the cook for being understanding and providing cool headed customer service in what turned into a shockingly volatile turn of events. That cook...

I've lived across the street from this place for a few years now and I've been before when there was old management? Had a bad experience. Excited to come back on a sunny Sunday to enjoy a brunch with my partner and once again so disappointed.

Waiter (maybe owner?) was very polite but couldn't take an order properly. Smoothie was all milk and some pink color? Girlfriend's tea+milk was hot milk drink with some loose tea leaves? We asked for another tea bag and got two matches tea bags?

After 20 mins they came out with half the order of 2 pancakes (ordered 3) without any forks. Never got our breakfast sandwich or potatoes.... Chef came and asked what happened and told him well just pay for what we got and leave. He charged us $7 for smoothie and tea and pancakes for free.... Had no idea how much stuff was and we ended up and just guessed? Super awkward.

Cannot recommend but probably will try someday again. Such great location and wish it could be better but just isn't...

A previous reviewer mentioned feeling right at home while dining at this friendly establishment. I can assure you that I felt the exact same. The owner greets you with a smile from the moment you walk in. An added bonus for the patrons, who equally as kind and are proof that this is the "city of brotherly love". I walked in craving pancakes and coffee. Instead, the owner obliged and offered to get a bit creative. I'm a fitness addict and was so happy that he offered the alternative. Lol. I honestly have no idea what was in the omelet, but it was amazing! Not over seasoned, fluffy eggs, potatoes were cooked perfectly, bacon was delicious and I could go on. I certainly appreciated the protein over high carb breakfast choice today. Another slam dunk for my foodie experiences for sure. If the owner offers to let him take the reigns on your meal, say yes! He knows what he's doing😉 I'm definitely going back.

Service was friendly. Food wasn’t terrible, but the price was ridiculous. We just wanted a small breakfast with coffee and ended up being $33 plus tip. We didn’t get a menu or anything so I take responsibility for that but would not recommend. The sticker on the piece of pepper is kind of unacceptable.
