I am trying to upload photos for this review as proof for my experience on 04/13/25. I love sushi, so I was standing outside reading the menu posted on the window. The atmosphere of the restaurant looked nice, so I spent $39.37 on the mango roll, miso soup (tastes okay), and pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp (tastes good). I was so excited, I ate the mango/caviar off the top because it looked so pretty and that tasted delicious. Then I separated the roll and I became nervous about the appearance of the salmon and tuna rolls. Against my better judgment I ate them and now I'm not feeling well. Anything for a buck, they should be shut down. I won't bother going back to contest this, but I do believe in warning other potential customers. Although the restaurant looked nice, I should have paid attention to the fact the restaurant was empty.🤦🏽‍♀️

Couldn't wait to try this place when I saw it open! We did take-out. It's only about three blocks away from us so I walked over to grab our food. We ordered: Sweet potato rolls; Avocado rolls; MAC rolls; and Tofu skin and cucumber rolls. Delicious! The sushi did NOT disappoint! So fresh! We also had the vegetable gyoza. So flavorful! Lastly, we had the vegetable fried rice. I was really impressed when I explained to the person taking my order that we were vegan. He said that he will have the chef make our rice in a separate pan and make sure that there is no egg. The vegetable fried rice was absolutely delicious and so incredibly fresh. The broccoli, onion, carrots and mushrooms were fresh and delightful. Looks like we found our new sushi spot!

Kiku is our neighborhood spot for takeout sushi. All of their classic rolls are good, but our favorites are the spicy rolls - they actually have a kick to them! They also do a solid job on the basic rolls, like tuna avocado and the Philadelphia roll (their smoked salmon sets this roll apart). We ordered the Valentine (my personal favorite) and the Temple signature rolls this time but our other go-to special rolls are the Tasker the Kiku rolls. Overall, the quality of the fish is consistent, the price is reasonable, the food is always ready super fast (we don’t need delivery since we live around the corner), and the people who work there are always very nice!
