Dear,
on behalf of my sister MG I am writing to file a formal complaint against Tony Luke's supervisor MH , my sister recently joined the company with great enthusiasm for the job opportunity presented. However, her experience on the second day 04/04/24 of work was deeply distressing and concerning.
On 04/24/24, she was approached by her supervisor, MH, who requested her airport badge to take a copy of it. Following this, she was instructed to accompany her to meet with the manager SH. To her dismay, instead of being given an opportunity to discuss any issues or concerns, she was left waiting outside the airport premises for an extended period of two hours, with no indication of when the manager would arrive.
Feeling confused and disregarded, she returned to her supervisor MH to inquire about the situation, only to be informed abruptly that she was no longer employed at Tony Luke's and was instructed to leave home . This abrupt termination, devoid of any explanation or opportunity for discussion, left her feeling deeply disrespected and dehumanized.
I firmly believe that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, particularly in the workplace. The lack of communication, transparency, and professionalism exhibited during her termination is unacceptable and constitutes a violation of basic employment rights.
she has documented the events leading up to and following her termination, including dates, times, and the names of individuals involved. Please let me know if any further information is required from my end to facilitate the investigation process.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust you will address this complaint with the seriousness and urgency it...
Read moreAirport location. I've got a connection in Philly, so thought I'd get a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I ordered that with Provolone, and a root beer. I When I walked up to the counter, I made eye contact with a food prepper and just said, "Hey how ya doin'?" He looked at me for a second and then looked down at the counter without saying a word. No nod, no smile, nothing. Kind of hostile, actually. The guy who came to the reggie was friendly, took my order, then got my fountain drink - but he put it in a cup that was probably at the bottom of a stack, because the lip was toast. That won't hold a lid securely, and, indeed, I dealt with root beer dribbles down my hand for the entire meal. The sandwich, though, was completely bland. Really sad. No onions, no peppers, and the bread had no flavor. The meat itself wasn't bad, just very plain - but the overall flavor left in my mouth was just... Grease. I thought these things were supposed to come with peppers & onions. I'm not a native Philladelphian, so I looked it up. Yep, the classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich is supposed to come with peppers & onions. I mean, maybe the kid who took my order was supposed to ask? But he didn't. So, I got a very boring Philly cheesesteak sammy in actual Philadelphia in an airport where the presumptions should always be that the customer isn't from around here, so you'd better let them know how you're gonna do their food if it's anything different from the classic concept. This, for $20. $20! Last night, I got authentic Nepalese Paka Paneer for $20....
Read moreI visited this restaurant to order a Chicken Philly Steak sandwich, with order number #18. Despite placing my order before several other customers, I noticed that individuals who ordered after me, including those with Philly steak and breakfast sandwiches, were receiving their food ahead of me. I observed that the staff member at the counter mistakenly gave my order to customer #20. I was listening carefully the entire time and knew that no one had called my number.
When I approached the counter to address the situation, the staff member denied any mistake and claimed that he had called my number. This was not the case, as I had been standing there attentively the entire time. Instead, he had called out for #20, who even returned to say she received the wrong order but decided to keep it. At this point, they were already serving customer #22.
I politely pointed out that my order may have been given to someone else, but rather than taking responsibility, the employee insisted that I had missed the call. He continued to deny the mistake, even after speaking with a colleague in the back. I asked for an update on my order and reminded him that I had also ordered hash browns. After waiting an additional three minutes, my food was finally prepared, but no apology or acknowledgment of the error was offered.
The lack of accountability and the attempt to shift the blame onto the customer was disappointing. Poor customer service like this reflects badly on the establishment, and it’s unfortunate that my experience was overshadowed...
