I cannot express my relief having found this place in the Philly airport after a very hard day of travel. I arrived from Italy and spent the next 6 or so hours being bounced between gates and concourses for my delayed connecting flight that was ultimately cancelled around 2200. At this point I had been up well over 24 hours and was now automatically booked on the first flight the next morning, due to board at 0420. I was exhausted.
I found it online and easily booked a room. Although I didn’t need a full 8 hr overnight stay, this option was cheaper. The location was perfectly placed for my morning flight in concourse A and thankfully I would NOT have to go thru security again. My room was clean and, after purchasing a toothbrush and paste there, I had everything I needed for rest. Of note: The bathrooms are the airport bathrooms across the hall, which was fine with me. I cannot speak enough gratitude and praise for Jason, who was manning the night shift. Not only was I greeted with a smile but he already had a room ready for me with pillows and blankets and was very kind and efficient. I asked him for a wake up call at 0400.
The next morning, as I am handicapped with MS and had arrived slowly pushing a wheelchair with my carryon in it because I couldn’t find any help to get around, Jason personally took me to my gate because he wanted to be sure I got there and didn’t miss my flight. I cannot thank him enough! I have no doubt I would have missed it had I had to wait.
For all these reasons, my stay was well worth the...
Read moreThis appears to be the only Priority Pass option at Philadelphia International Airport. I do not recommend this place, especially if you are planning to pay cash for this.||I decided to check this place out when I had a very long wait for my flight home from a business trip. It is located in Terminal B, fairly close to the connector to Terminal A.||First bad sign was that two women “working” the front desk were both not available to when I arrived there. I can hear them yammering with each other in one of the rooms. I had to go slightly inside beyond the desk to get their attention. Then I found out that the place was all booked (not sure why…? Who would WANT to stay here???)||Then I put my. name/phone number on a sign in sheet (I almost did not do that, since that’s just weird….for anybody to be able to see this on the check-in desk…WTF??)||They I got a call about 40 min. later. I was check-ed into a small suite that has seen much better days. The funny thing is that everything looked so dumpy, just like most of the public areas at this forsaken airport.||There is no restroom there. You go to the public restroom (and PHL public restrooms are….um….not nice) across the hall. The Minute Suites wifi was not working when I was there.||Please see the pictures and decide for yourself this is something you would actually pay for.||I only used the “suite” to change and write this review.||FYI: if you use Priority Pass to use this facility, you only get 1 hour of use. I’m not sure if that’s an inconvenience...
Read morei gave one star because you have to choose, but not even worth the one star. Unfortunately, i was not able to go into the minute suite lounge after being greeted like i was a bother after i was asked how i was paying for the service. Once the very unmotivated and unprofessional representative was made aware that i was using Priority Pass i was dismissed like she did not want my business. I was told that it was a 30 minute wait because they were cleaning, i very politely said "ok no prob can you take my name and ill be waiting here", she responded by saying that it was first come first serve and that i have to leave and come back after 30 minutes. Mind you its first come first serve, but im right in front of her and i was willing to wait the 30 minutes. On the other hand She was willing to take my name if i paid without priority pass. My suggestion to Priority Pass, is not to have that only option in this PHL airport, maybe some competition will do all some good, so they will stop mistreating the PP customers. It is very frustrating to be treated like an unworthy customer. I ended up sitting just like everyone else in the terminal waiting area until my next flight for about 2:30 hrs. I did not bother returning to Minute Suites just to avoid being ridiculed again. Turns out that after reading the reviews, im glad i did not return to Minute Suites, looks like i did not miss much anyways. NOT GOOD FOR PRIORITY PASS IMAGE OR AMERICAN EXPRESS. Thanks...
