Uncle Tomy's Original Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

My dad used to allow us to order from Uncle Tomy's pizza every Friday evening in the 70s - 80s . Well fast forward to September 2021 and I said to myself " let me order from Uncle Tomy's since it's been a long time". I ordered an inside out pizza and keep in mind I'm ONLY 2 1/2 blocks from the delivery place. I waited 40 mins and I promise you that when the delivery guy came and left I cut a piece off to taste it and the whole inside was lukewarm and the cheese was barely melted. Please tell me how is it possible that any hot order can travel 3 blocks and be warm ? Because of their attitude when I told them what happened I'll never consider them again. The boss says he watched my food being made and I said that's beyond the point. You need to ask your driver why was my order warm if he was just going 2 1/2 blocks AND if he had to deliver other food my order should've been first since I'm only 2 1/2 blocks. Did he drive through the city and then make his way to my house ? Btw because of my health issues I couldn't walk the 2 1/2 blocks. I'm almost sure that of course things , ppl , and the attitude with laziness along with other issues has caused many businesses to become lackluster. We moved from Deep South Philly to point breeze and were desperately seeking a new pizzeria as our fav did not deliver to our new home. Well after striking out with a close place that delivered us FROZEN PIZZA we were hesitant to trust anywhere else....BUT UNCLE TOMYS DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I hate to admit that our house orders dinner 1 to 3 times a week and most everything is from Tomys. Their pizza is amazing the cheese steak stromboli is incredible....pizza steaks are huge and so tasty!! Uncle Tomy’s is a staple in the grays ferry community. I’ve been ordering here since I was a little boy and I am now 35. They have a wide selection of really good food. I think chuck (the owner) has a hit on his hands with the homeade Mac and cheese. It’s really that good. You can eat it straight up or add it to a meal. You won’t be disappointed. I love the cheesesteak Stromboli as well. The dough is the greatest part. I know that sounds weird but order it and you will see what I mean. I’d rank their cheesesteak Stromboli in my top 3 ever.
