Wendy's — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Food industry is never easy..but dont bother with this location on a Saturday night. I went at 1130pm after i finished work. When a restaurant is behind, obviously the food would be hot because they just made it no? Any other instance when an establishment is behind, they send out hot food because the food is literally just made. Here, it was coldd as hell. I spit it right out.

It took them almost 5 mins to even address me in the line despite having nobody in front of me. I understand yall are busy but you can take the order at least? Say hi? Anything? When i pulled up the headset girl is just there staring into nothing because she was irritated about whatever was going on in there. But the order taker is just as important as anyone else. No proactive movements, side work, helping the crew. Nope. Just stood there arms crossed.

I had asked for honey mustard at the window, nope, i had asked for a medium coke, didnt get that either because the manager handed the food first and by then i just wanted the food and get the hell out of there. I dont blame the manager exclusively, the team overall was just in shambles. I cant imagine how much food was wasted or ruined all because of attitude problems. Incredible.

The manager was handling drama in the kitchen which i understand isnt easy, but the basic quality ends wasnt there at this wendys on sat night. Been to plenty of wendys on a fun weekend night, many have their flaws. But shoot this team had every flaw in the book this evening. A shame.

Just come during the day, dont bother with coming at night. Only thing they got right was the fries. For a 20 dollar order Whoopdie flipping doo. With so many people on it was just an absolute disaster. Again, dont bother coming at night. This location is quite solid durong the day. Night time...

So, i was at a Wendys other than the one i usually go to on Cottman because i m visiting my 97 yr old grandmother who is in a nursing home and she likes me to bring her Wendys classic chicken sandwich and fries. Well, i started buying Wendys grilled chicken sandwiches myself about 2 months ago after grandmom told me to get her their classic. Anyway i came to this Wendys on Broad St (Champlost) and waiting in line for about 16 min, forgot to scan my app at the window and then when i started driving to my Grandmoms, i took out my grilled chicken sandwich took a bit or two and noticed it was hard to chew and felt like i had pieces of plastic in my mouth. At the next light i opened it up and my piece of chicken was burnt on one side and dried ip and shriveled on the other. I wanted to go back and ask them how they thought it was right to put what i m sure they already had observed to be a burnt piece of chicken on a roll and give it to me, a paying customer! But i didnt want to miss my visit with my grandmom so i just wrapped it back up and went on my way. I feel very upset, because i was do hungry and since i m dieting snd only eat Grilled chicken from Wendys? that was it for me. I cant imagine whoever gave me that burnt piece of chicken would have eaten it themselves. I m just very upset and feel totally cheated out of my hard earned money. Update! This location is HORRIBLE! From the drive through to the cashiers and cooks! I was, possibly, 5th line at 11:00 a. m. Two cars ahead, drove off without ordering. The car, immediately, in front of me, began to order and I heard the cashier say “we are serving breakfast… that car drove off. I moved up and decided to get breakfast. Because? I and my Sick mother were HUNGRY. I began to order. Cashier tells me… we are serving LUNCH. HUH? They still had the BREAKFAST MENU UP!? I told her. Then a man came out of a back door and “tried” turning the menus to lunch/dinner!!! Ok? We had been in line five minutes. We ordered. We get to windows to pay. The cashier and cook had no gloves on MUCH LESS ANY MASKS!!! The area was dirty. They were lifting cups with finger inside cups! My mother wanted a vanilla frosty… they had none/zero!!!!

They told us, only, strawberry or chocolate. The “cook” over filled the cup AND THEN, poured/spilled it into another cup with her dirty hands! I had to BAM on windows and honk horn to tell her/them I DON’T WANT THAT! She hid it behind the machine.

Finally, I paid. Get home. THE FOOD WAS; half done, stale bread, not hot, fries had been cooked in DIRTY OIL.

I have tried calling Wendy’s cooperate offices. They put/leave CUSTOMERS ONLY HOLD FOR O ER TWENTY MINUTES and then hang up!

Wendy’s has lost...
