If you want a wonderful experience with Great variety of Sushi.. ask for Keichita (aka K) She was an absolute WONDERFUL waitress & very knowledgeable of the menu with recommendations that won't disappoint!! Had a warm smile & friendly even when I wasn't so easy to get along with. Kitchen staff was awesome. Food came quickly & delicious!! Steak cooked to perfection & scallops were delicious! Noodles a little undercooked for my preference but my son loved them. Downside of the experience, "manager" Sarah Dennis. She was very rude. Delivered obviously table shared sushi without chopsticks, utensils or even plates!!! (K was with another table) when we asked for plates, utensils, Yum Yum Sauce etc, "manager" brought Togo everything with an attitude like we were being told to leave. Table next to us, after eating almost entire dinner complained & her response was "I apologize, we have a new chef that doesn't seem to be working out" she comped their entire bill & didn't even tip the waitress (which they are forced to split tips) Sarah "manager" also gathered entire staff in front of the restaurant for everyone to see as she obviously scolded them as if they were children who got caught Taking cookies out of the cookie jar. Even with the humiliation she caused her staff & horrific customer service our Dear Waitress "K" continued to remain cheerful, delightful & made our experience such a delight!! Kudos to the staff, cleanliness of the building & delicious & quickness of the food. Generally good food. Sushi tastes fresh and dishes are prepared on the spot. Ive eaten here monthly for years and in that time, ive only been disappointed in the food once.

The atmosphere is ok. There's holes drilled into the plywood booth dividers for some reason. But it generally looks clean and a little cramped with too many tables in a small space. These are nitpicks of course. It's a perfectly fine place to enjoy a meal.

The service can be hit or miss with my recent visits landing on a miss. Lately I've been taking my meals to go largely due to the service received in the past year It's nothing too crazy, just consistently bad. I ordered an edamame appetizer which was forgotten about then brought after the meal was done. I've had to wait 20 minutes after being seated, to have the waiter introduce themselves and take a drink order. I had one waitress completely ignore our table after dropping off food. I had to ask the hostess for a single drink refill, and later a check since we never saw our waitress again. The most recent time my wife and I stopped in for lunch and were seated for a long time without ever being approached by the waitress for an introduction or order. We ended up leaving after 25 minutes of no contact and got lunch elsewhere.

So all that said, I recommend getting the food to go. It seems to be the only part of this restaurant that works in...

We came down here from the Chicago area for the Choctaw fair. What a hidden gem this restaurant was.

The servers were excellent, the person making the sushi was focused, fast and made great sushi rolls!

I was pleasantly surprised how great the food was, being in a smaller town, some places cut back in quality. Not here! Sashimi was fresh, and the sushi rolls were huge and packed with flavor!

We were lucky to catch the Tuesday special !! I believe it was 30% off all rolls. They have other daily specials as well. Large variety and selection of what you would expect at a good sushi place.

If they were up here in the area I live in, they would be one of my top go-to places for sushi. Great job!
