Barro's Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

I generally love Barro’s Pizza & wings, but this is by far the worst Barro’s location I’ve been to. Although the food was very good, the customer service was the worst service I’ve got from any restaurants combined, very unpleasant, if I could give their service 0 stars I would, the cashier and servers had unpleasant overall demeanors, I did not feel welcomed at all. The cashier was unpleasant we took maybe 5 mins if that, to order our food, she was impatient and was bothered we took the little time to order as we were having to handle our toddlers and weren’t sure of what to order, she started clicking her nails as to tell us to hurry up even though, I let her know as soon as we walked up to the counter that we needed some time to look at the menu and we moved over to the side. Now I’m not a complainer and don’t usually make these type of reviews unless there’s more than one or two good reasons to, let me tell you as me and my family are walking to our table I immediately notice the tables were all dirty I’m not exaggerating, not one of them were wiped off or clean…Now I could understand if one/two were dirty but in this case all the tables on both sides were dirty, they all had grease finger and hand marks, some had pieces of food and trash from prior guests just sitting there the whole time we sat there, mind they were not busy and there was enough staff there to clean up the tables. The server who came and gave us our food didn’t even greet us and also had a very unprofessional & unpleasant demeanor, I’m telling she almost threw our food on our table. This is by far the worst and uncleanliness Barro’s and restaurant customer service I’ve ever received. Needless to say the tables remained dirty. Never coming back to this Barro’s pizza. This is an edit of my previous 4 star review. The previous 4 star was based on my positive experience with the chain and by generally positive experience at this location. The new review is only ONE star and a general opinion of avoid this location.

This newer review is being made at the time of the corona virus spread. So understandingly it was take out only. When you buy pizza for people at lunch, you need plates, and napkins. Almost every other pizza place will offer parmesan packets and pepper packets. Obviously when someone orders an extra large and when it is to go that means it is going to be shared.

The lady that picked up directly in front of me was offered each of those. They tried to refuse them to me. When I called and placed my order I specifically asked employee named Selina (who was very nice) and she said all that would be available. But AFTER I paid, and I was picking up, I was denied them. All the manager would do is offer a wishy washy response. He did NOT say, "yes it comes with your order, especially now that there is a crisis, we are grateful for your business and we know you need these items and I'll have a talk with that employee."

AND AGAIN, THE LADY IN FRONT OF ME WAS OFFERED THE ITEMS BY THE SAME EXACT EMPLOYEE.

The food is always good, the service isn't. We come regularly and always order the same, large pizza, 24 wings and 2 garlic breads with cheese ( each bread is cut in twos). The table we wanted was dirty so I asked for a cloth to wipe the table and was handed the cloth, I cleaned the table so we could wait for our food. We waited half an hour to be served, the pizza was ready first and then we waited more for the wings and the bread. I asked for ranch and the girl said ok, someone asked her if she wanted to go home, she said yes and walked away. She walked to the registers, didn't grab any ranch, so my brother had to walk up and ask for ranch again. The wings came out once we were already done with our pizza and half way through the wings they brought out one order of garlic bread (2 pieces). We asked for the second one and we were asked for a receipt, threw it away while waiting, the girl that took our order passed by and said she "thought we meant 2 pieces of bread". The server said she would go get it ready, then came back and said "we'll be waiting up front when you're ready to pay."
