Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Phoenix

I've always LOVED baskin robbins and go almost every weekend with my family to get ice cream. My family and I have been to several of their locations on many different occasions and have never had any issue before until yesterday. It's sad to say that it was so bad that we will never again come to this location. We ordered like usual, but the guy who helped us charged us for an item that we did not order. We didn't notice until he handed us the receipt. We brought it to the guy's attention, but he argued instead that there was nothing wrong. After going back and forth with him, he finally told us to "slide the card again", and he would refund us. After we did, he told us to slide it again and he would charge us the "right" amount. Long story short, we ended up paying $40.00 for 4 scoops of ice cream. We had to go back and show the guy our online account and he said that it was normal for it to show as pending. After calling our bank, the banker told us that we indeed we're charged for the full amount of $40 and no refund was ever processed. Such horrible customer service here. We won't be returning after all the fiasco we had...

One of my childhood memories is the treat of Baskin Robbins. Watching the server battle the rock hard ice cream to create a perfect sphere of goodness. Haven’t had any for years so decided to treat myself. Imagine the disappointment to dig in to a barely frozen glop of ice cream. From other reviews I see I wasn’t the only one. Also, it was 104 degree June day and the inside was way too warm for comfort. Would not want to see what a 115 degree day would be like. Maybe they are not investing the $ to keep the store and the freezers cold enough? Not sure, but you may want to try another location. Very friendly workers, which made this a 2 star instead of one...

The last few times we visited this ice cream place we were miffed by the lack of ice cream in their sundaes. The two scoops hardly reached half of the two scoop cup and the ice cream had the consistency of soft serve ice cream. Today's trip proved less that stellar when I saw a man before me get two scoops that was higher than the cup and the two sundaes for us were half a cup. I was told the sundaes get kid scoops. Let's see here soft ice cream, three scoops of chocolate sauce to fill up the cup, and it will be the last visit to BR. I forgot to mention the one time the owner came over and asked what we wanted him to do about the order....
