Brooklyn Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Phoenix

Today I ordered a Hot Italian sub and without a doubt it was the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. After I finished eating I spoke with Mike for a bit and it suddenly clicked. The reason why it was so good compared to anything I can make at home, or any other sub shop was simple. I was speaking TO THE OWNER. He was the one who made the sub... On top of the fact that they slice, bake and/or cook all their meats and bread in house every morning before they open. You've got the owner making the food for you. SO HE CARES! Any other shop or resturant you have some under paid, or under appreciated teen who doesn't care about anything. Mike and his wife are the only two people working there. His wife joked that the sanwich was so good because it was made with love. And that was the truth. Before I left I ordered two more cold sandwichs to take with me. Lastly I'd like to add that Brooklyn Mike's has been around for 39 years! They say it takes 10,000 hours (about 10 years) to master a craft. In that case Mike is about to hit his 4th prestige!...

My husband told me before coming here that this was going to be a experience and that we had to dine it. We went for lunch with our three kids. And right away we were greeted with smiles and amazing energy. I honestly got the feeling of breaking in Brooklyn all the way across the country in Phoenix. My husband and oldest are repeat customers and Mike was very happy to see them. Mike and his wife treated us like old friends. And gave us free samples of their bacon that they kale in house. We ordered our food and when the sandwiches came I couldn’t believe the portion size. Like wow! Everything was fresh and delicious. I can tell that they love what they do. We had an amazing lunch and great conversations with them. We love this place and I can’t wait to go back. They have a variety of sandwiches on their menu with specials. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for a great sandwich and quality service. 10/10 NOW THATS A SANDWICH! Love the New York energy. Good vibes all...

Brooklyn Mikes is my oldest son and my favorite sandwich shop ever. We are currently in Arizona building a new business and the rest of the family still lives in California. Recently the family came to visit and we couldn’t wait to bring them here to have these amazing sandwiches. First of all Mike Jr and Kathy treat us like family and welcome us with the most heart felt welcoming ever, then they back it all up with the most amazing towering delicious sandwiches ever. That day the five of split 3 sandwiches (that’s how enormous thy are) and still left with half of two of them. The Brooklyn Bridge Beast (what the Hec style), The Meatball Parmesan and the Brooklyn Bomber. All amazing sandwiches made with love and passion for what they do.
