EDIT: 2 weeks or more have passed and I still have not heard back from the company after submitting an online complaint. I also have attempted to call this location to speak with a manager; no one picks up…
I placed an order through DoorDash since I had a Salad & Go location next to me. For some reason the app sent my order somewhere it would take me 2 hours to walk - the location on N 44th. I immediately called this location to let them know what was happening and not to make my food. I was in touch with DoorDash on my app, and they were going to cancel the order and refund me if my food wasn’t prepared. When they called, the employees at this location had made my order, causing me to waste money as DoorDash refused to cancel the order since the food was prepared (after I asked them not to). I called this location back to ask why this was done, and was not given much of a reason. I was placed on hold so she could reach out to her manager. I was “on hold” - they just put the phone down - for 5 or more minutes. I heard the two girls in the restaurant talk about me in a negative way. Neither seemed to care or work with me on a solution. I eventually had to hang up since they started blaring loud Ariana Grande music and had seemed to ignore me at this point. After calling back again, I was told to fill out a form online to speak with guest services. They did offer a gift card to replace my funds - only if I could come pick it up in person, which was a laughable solution. I’d pick up my food if I had the transportation to get there. I’m walking, not driving, and I wouldn’t even make it there in time to pick up the order or the gift card. Salad & Go should have access to cancel orders in case something like this happens - but also to find an appropriate solution. I even asked if they could contact the location next to me, to see if they were willing to do something. Or they could issue a gift card and let the place near me use it. Of course it...
Read moreThe guy on drive Thur today was just terrible. I had accidentally placed my order at the wrong location because the app just orders at the last location you used besides choosing the one closest to you and I usually always go to 44th and oak so I overlooked the location by accident. He told me he cannot honor my order and I would have to buy it again cuz it’s not transferrable. I go to this location 44th and oak every week and get the same thing and the customer service was horrible this time. Previously I have accidentally order at the wrong location before and they just looked at my receipt to make sure it was valid and then made my order with no hassle because I still paid for it just not at their location. It’s just called providing that exceptional customer service and going the extra mile. They didn’t have to do that but because they provided great customer service they still honored it. Today the guy at 44th and oak was just terrible. If you don’t wanna be nice and provide customer service get a different job. I understand honoring my order is not required however explaining it in a nice way would be better then being rude and cutting me off while still talking. Just going the extra mile by making the order makes or breaks someone’s experience and what type of...
Read moreI love salad n go and this location makes me… sad. I just moved to this area and I will be traveling the extra 10 minutes to a different location. On a few different occasions, the service is just a bit cold and rude, then asks me to fill out a survey of the service with a straight face. Tonight, we ordered 3 salads, a wrap, and 4 drinks. After every time we ordered something, he said “Will that be all”. He read back our order, then read back our order at the window. Unfortunately one of our salads included chicken despite being specially ordered without, which was stated on both read backs. Another salad was no tomatoes, sub ranch; there’s tomatoes and blue cheese dressing. They even have printed tags now to say what goes in your order, man oh man.😭 The wrap was basically an open faced tostada, lol, see photo. The person in the drive thru seemed to flirt with my 16 y/o sister who was driving. Just all around poor...
