Five Guys — Restaurant in Phoenix

Sunday 1/21/24 I came here to order food for my family. I paid over $40 for 2 Burgers, 2 Drinks, and 1 Fry. The only thing correct was the drinks and that’s because I had to fix them myself lol

Upon entering I could tell there was some discord. A young lady was sweeping the floor and welcomed me in. The guy behind the counter was flipping burgers then repeated the welcome. He said he would be with me in a moment. Now here it was already strange. This place was more full than usual. People waiting and why is the person taking orders also flipping burgers when they were obviously behind on orders.

Then a third person finally shows up and informs me they running out of things so would it be okay for me to do Light onion because they want to save the onions for online delivery. This was annoying because I’m here now don’t prioritize future online orders over me.

After some back and forth between workers one storms out and a yelling match ensues. The young lady left and there were obviously a lot of women people waiting longer than they should’ve been. My toppings were wrong on both burgers. The bacon i paid for was missing. The fries were cold and they were stingy unlike the usual overshare.

This was a bad experience and this place should have done more to fix our experience as customers especially when we know how things are...

Do not go here. I ordered pickup and waited at the location. Girl making burgers was kind of arrogant/not friendly. When I finally got the order (after an extended wait) the girl told me my order was at the back (like I was supposed to know what she meant/treated me like I was stupid). So I walked back to where "the back" was and there was another kid there who looked at me kind of strange. So I said, "I'm Dave" and he handed me the greasy bag with two burgers and a regular order of fries. It was a five minute drive to my friend's house where we were going to enjoy our lunch. Sadly, the fries were cold and soggy. This is not what I expect from a burger joint that cost me over $30 (for two burgers and one order of fries) and I have been to another location (right next to my house) and the fries were always fresh, hot, and crispy. There is absolutely no excuse, and I would highly recommend not going to this location if you are a Five Guys fan (you will be totally disappointed). And needless to say, I am no longer a fan...

I'll be honest, I hate doing this. I have never before felt the need to leave a negative review for a resteraunt before but this amazing. My burger was entirely messed up missing several things I requested and completely covered in relish, in fact almost everything in our groups order had relish despite not one of us ordering it. One of the hot dogs a friend order was cut up and put on a burger bun for some reason. Honestly my guess is someone was too lazy to grab some more from the back. It was so incredibly wrong that at first I assumed we got the wrong order but no all the items were there and the icing on top. We were the only customers in the building. So I am not sure what happened but this has honestly turned me off from the entire chain.
