Tino in the electronics department is the least helpful employee I've ever met. I don't mean at this Target, at all Targets. His customer service skills made me feel like I was in a Walmart.
I asked him if he could help me find a specific product. Not only did I describe the product but I gave him the model number. I was polite the entire time and tried to make his job as easy as possible by providing as much information as I could yet he still acted like me wanting to buy something was was ruining his day.
I first went to another Target to look for a specific product. Unfortunately, that location was sold out but the nice gentleman checked what other locations had it and even called to verify that it was still in the store. I drove to that store only for Tino to not care.
He walked me to where he thought it should be and when it wasn't at that location he said "it is not here so I don't know."
I said "they just called from another location and the guy said there were three here, could he have moved them to another spot to hold them?"
"Look, I don't know what to tell you man" Tino said before walking off. I got almost out of the store before I decided to go back and get Tino's name so I could leave this review.
I suggest if you go to this Target, and if you're in the electronics department and Tino comes to help you, ask for another employee. If you have any desire to have your questions answered or to actually be helped, you are better off with someone else.
I went to a KMart the other day and the guy there had better customer service skills than Tino. Have you been to a KMart recently? It looks like the place you would go if you wanted to open you own KMart and you needed to buy shelves and racks. Everything there is empty. Half of the lights are off or burned out. When you get to the back of the store it feels like you went too deep into the woods and you might be in real danger. You know how some stores have restaurants inside? Like a McDonald's or maybe a Subway.... well the KMart had a barrel fire with a shopping cart turned on its side, on top of the barrel fire and some hot dogs sitting on the cart. They had ice cream but all the flavors were weird. Japanese weird. They had a flavor called Beach Sand. What the hell is that? Zika... seriously, what does Zika taste like? I don't want to know. Ricola! I don't want Ricola ice cream. They had it.
When you go to the register and ask "how much is this?" the guy at the register says "how much you got?" They still use one of those old fashion card readers where they lay your card in what looks like a tomato slicer and then slide the handle thing over it so it copies onto a carbon paper that gives three copies of the transaction. One for the customer, one for KMart, and one for the shady guy who rang you up. Not sure why he needs a copy but still, WAAAAY better customer...

I physically had the cards in my hand but when my kids got ready to use the cards, they would not work. Checked the balance on the cards and it stated that the cards was used online at Target in San Pedro, CA. I instantly called the card company for my refund. They stated that they put a hold on the card so it can not be used any longer but they had already used the money up on the card anyway, which didn't make any sense at all. Also stated that I needed to call Target to have them refund the card. I called Target corporation and they stated that I need the online purchase order to receive a refund. They would not give me that info. They also stated that they can not look up orders from the card numbers that were used. Now they push the blame to the gift card company. I decided to go up to this location and speak with a manager, the moment I stated the problem the lady behind the desk stated that Target had to take the cards down because of this issue. I called the day before and spoke with a Jonathan in security and he told me they were having this issue at this location. Come up to the store and they will take care of me. When I mentioned that the card was being used in San Padro, CA, he stated that's what other customers have been calling in saying. NOW I HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET MY MONEY BACK. RIDICULOUS, IM FURIOUS. If they know this is a ongoing issue, then why sell a third party product, unless you are in on the scam as well. NEXT STEP IS, IM GOING TO THE NEWS TO REPORT THIS. SHOPPERS BE AWARE AT...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJared, Jesus and Uriel were very helpful and understanding. Unfortunately "Zee" working in self checkout, treated me like I was an annoying bother. It was approximately 9:25p. I had a sale item that prompted a team member to adjust the price. I had to ask another associate for help. That associate had to flag her down, just to get her to help me. After she input the correct price, she tossed the pants inconveniently on top of an unopened bag instead of one of the two open bags. I let her know I had two other sale items and asked if she could "hang out for a bit". She was resistant to helping me and said, "you can just wait until the light (above scanner) comes on". Before she could leave, I quickly rang up the other items. In the process, I lost the rubber piece that attached to my earbud. I began looking around the checkout screen. Zee moved in my way, to clean the register screen, etc, as I was looking around the register. I asked Zee if she had seen it. Zee looked down briefly and said she had "closing procedures to complete" Z is clearly well versed in Walmart culture. This is a coaching opportunity. The Target brand is pristine. And Z is not. Honorable mention to Brandon whom I had the pleasure of speaking with 5/17/25 he was polite, informative and kind. Thank you for readings this. Take...
