Chopper Johns — Restaurant in Phoenix

I had a horrible experience at Chopper John's. The tiny bar is over crowded and under staffed. The bartender took my bank card and left my bill open. I went to close my tab and she tells me she can't find my card and I must have closed already. I never closed my tab and can guarantee that this establishment does not have my signature on record. I have contacted fraud with my bank and have filed theft charges with the police. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be returning. The manager took my info and said he would call me. He didnt follow up. This is definitely a buyer beware situation and wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. I now have to wait 10 days to get a new card sent to me, leaving me without money for over a...

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!! Mixed crowd/ ages / ethnicity. Every one is very relaxed..chill atmosphere. Service was EXCEPTIONAL..( 10 stars .).Google gives 5 as a high for ratings. Jus saying I'd give 10 if I could.

Beer specials are available during the day prior to Happy hour. This is a good thing! I stop by midday for a bit. Totally appreciate beer specials early on!

This Bar is spotless clean! Bathroom's are unbelievable clean!! They also observe the sanitizing requirements since Corona. I think this Bar already had sanitizing protocols in place prior to Corona.

An absolute gem of a place if you are into live music and great people. Got to snap a picture of a punk style band called the Complainiacs (sp?) but it was hard to hear after them who was next, but they were pretty damn good. If you look at the ceiling and think you can reach the dollars ya can't, I tried. But each one of them have thank yous and dedications and doodles on em' its kinda cool. And the funny thing is, I knew only one person there and everyone was friendly and talkative and wanted to know if you'd be back.
