Do yourself a favor and order from/drive to the Taco Bell on Thomas Rd, it's worth the extra time. This Taco Bell always skimped on ingredients so I started only going to the TB on Thomas years ago, but I used GrubHub for the first time in a long while and didn't think to check which location location i chose, just picked the first one that popped up in the search results and assumed it's the Thomas Rd one. I ordered the Meal for 4 with 2 cheese quesadilla, 2 crunch wrap supremes, 4 soft tacos, and 2 nachos and cheese and the amount of fillings in them was almost nonexistent, i get that its a group deal that saves you a few bucks so items might be smaller and/or use less ingredient but what i got was straight disrespectful. The quesdilla's cheese and sauce wouldnt even fill one piece of it, let alone the whole thing. Crunch wrap's beef only covered 1/4 of it with thickness of .25" and all the soft tacos meat barely covered 1/3 of the taco. I could understand it maybe being an accident if just 1 was lacking, but not when it's all 8 items, that intentional for sure. Maybe they only do it to delivery orders since its unlikely they'll complain in person. TB must have franchise standards on ingredient amounts for their items that stores must follow, right? Whoever oversees a region's stores needs to make a few anonymous delivery orders to really see how bad it is cause pictures make it look slightly better than in person. What I got is unacceptable. Nachos seemed right though so i guess they got that going for them lol. They really set a new low for Taco Bell expectations that I didn't think was possible, especially with that quesadilla, now thats impressive. Avoid...
Read moreReally, really bad order of their new nacho tacos.
I have a few food allergies, and I am diabetic so I order my food a very specific way. 1 hour after eating, my lower back started to hurt. The the pain spead to my sides and finally to my stomach. When the pain was in my lower back, I didn't know what it was, it hurt for almost for an hour. But after it spead to my stomach, things clicked. This has been the worse pain I have ever experienced after eating out anywhere. I could NOT stand, sit, lay down, face up or face down, on my side, feet up or head elevated, no position where my lower back and stomach didnt feel like something was about to explode.
I spent 3 hours throwing up and having diarrhea before some of the pain lessened. It's been 5 hrs since eating at TacoBell and I'm still throwing up, but now it's now more diarrhea.
I KNOW I'm never eating there again.
The employee took a lot longer to place my order and then wanted to charge me $0.60 more per taco for each of the 12 nacho tacos I ordered. I dont eat flour tortillas so I ordered a crunchy taco shell instead, she charged me twice, per taco, to add a crunchy shell, not substitute the soft tortilla for the a hard shell taco.
When an employee has a question regarding a menu item, the manager should be nice enough to help out. This was not the case here. After the employee added a crunchy taco shell to each taco, I said, "what you have there is a double decker taco, not a nacho taco with a hard shell."
Well, a very painful and horrible experience and knowledge that I am NEVER eating there again.
To all future customers, please be careful and order at...
Read moreI got to say, first off, Taco Bell is my favorite place to eat fast food. Second, I came here at a bad time which is my own fault. The line was super long, but the employees here handled the situation really well. The guy taking orders over the headset Told me to ask the second window about an adjustment to my order. I forgot and I asked him instead, but he was super cool about it. The second guy was getting my drink ready and he had a ponytail and was super polite. I ordered the potato with cheese sauce, which by the way is amazing. I was in the parking lot and a guy next to me saw me eating it and said he always gets the same thing and we were talking about how ironic it is that Taco Bell has these amazing potatoes. The problem is I think not that many people know about the potatoes, so the guy at the window told me to go park in the parking lot and wait for a minute because they were cutting up fresh potatoes. He hustled outside to find me and told me that it would be one more minute. I really appreciated that he came all the way outside to me to tell me that. Then he came back out with my order and was just optimal customer service all around with both of the employees I interacted with. Well-managed location and the food is obviously always good. To the manager, it was about 1255 pm when I placed my order, so I appreciate your management style, but I also hope that you can let the employee taking orders with the headset and the employee with the ponytail to know that they did a...
