The city hired security for some parks. This security team as seen in the pictures was trying to intimidate me to leave the area. They were violating my civil rights. They had no business forcing me by intimidation to leave. I was parked on a city street. Parked where a few people park to sleep in their cars because They have fallen on bad times. They simply sleep in their cars and then they go to work the next morning they don't cause any noise they don't cause any damage or any trouble. Anyone left at a certain time the security team comes and pushes them away by intimidating them as you can see they are parked the wrong way on the street. They have no right to break the law. I have no right to intimidate these people to leave. Don't drive by very slow and used intimidation to force people away if they don't like them. I stayed a couple nights and they did it to me and I'm driving a Mercedes SUV did nothing wrong but stand up for some unfortunate people that are waiting for housing and have no place else to stay except their cars. Why are we wasting tax payer money on a couple of clowns when we have tons of park rangers sitting around in their trucks parked under a tree in the...

Pleasant walk with the olive trees , I didn't notice too much of an allergy aggravating odor. , very few unfriendly or questioning encounters in passing by. There is a water fountain located by the restrooms . Stay hydrated 🙂! The park has some litter but way less than most I've seen . Disc ball playing active and well set up . The playground still had children's laughter well after "street lights" . Didn't see any access to electricity so I recommend a rechargeable device that's charged if needed. As I snapped a lot of random shots from stickers covering poles to the not so green at all grass with a bubblegum wrapper focus. I came across a small group , meditating with great choice in accompanying music. Must add they played at a respectful volume that seemed to only hear within a few feet from themselves. So no overtaking the area with intrusive sound or commotion affecting...

I've been visiting this park for years since one of my house sitting clients live nearby.

It's a nice urban space with a disc golf course, a volleyball court, workout stations, a playground, a few picnic tables, and some shade provided by rows of olive trees. There's also quite a bit of grass (depending on the season) and some wide open spaces.

A lot of people come here to walk or to just hang out. Many, many people walk their dogs here. It's a nice place to walk dogs, but I see way too many dogs off leash here. As far as I can tell, this is not an off-leash park. Dogs should be leashed at all times. So if unleashed dogs concern you, this is not a good...

This review is based on my experience from April 2018. The park is called Olivos for the numerous olive trees planted there. The first thing I noticed was the area around the playground was filthy. It's a shame because I have been to many other city parks with better up keep. This made it difficult to keep an eye on my child as he played since my wife and I didn't have a shady place to sit on a very warm day. The adjacent ramadas were also filthy. Again, I couldn't keep an eye on my child from a distance. I'm sure this was probably an isolated incident and I'll give the city the benefit of a doubt. We I visit again, I'll reevaluate my opinion and review.
