WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Waited an hour to be seated and its ok because the food its worth it! We got seated at a small table for 4 people and as u know here you need some elbow room. We asked the hostess to be seated at different place she said no because people get seated according to the party they have.. smh we understood đ. Our waitress Miranda was super nice very attentive to our needs. Great customer service and you will see why! She took our drink and food order since we all know what we get. She brought our drinks fast. We enjoy our appetizers! As our food came out 2 orders where wrong. One was replaced and on the other the cook only took the TOFU out and send the order back which it was wrong already. Our waitress said the check would be fix since the order was not correct and we waited enough time we just wanted to eat since it was 9pm and we had a long drive. So we enjoyed the food and the quality time since COVID has been hard on everyone! Let me remind you that our waitress said the check would be fix since it wasn't what we order. As we received our check we noticed it was wrong and wasn't fix. We asked the waitress to call a manager. We let her know this had nothing to do with her and that she did an amazing job. We waited for about 10 min for a manager to come by, when she finally came we could tell she already had an attitude before we express to her the issue. We noticed she was already aggravated as if she had something against us. We try to explain to her the issue and all she did was give us bad attitude and roll her eyes at us. I told her if she could just fix the issue with the check since we where getting charge for items we didn't get. We even explain to her the issue and ask she said was oh well! We had enough been disrespect as a paying customer. We asked her name she didn't provide us with a name and walked away. She took the receipt. She came back still with a bad attitude like we did something bad to her. She smack the receipt on the table and walked away. Other customers just look at the way she treated us. I have never been disrespected in this way before no embarrassing!! I guess her name showed on the receipt as "JULIE" . Smh our waitress was there and she seem shocked at her manager behavior. We paid our check left her a tip and left. Drove in shocked for the way we where treated!! Even wrote a post on Facebook and our post was deleted!! Oh so rude...
A word of advice to JULIE the manager, if you are having a bad day don't take it out on the customers. Remember we all deserve get treated...
Read moreThe food here is great but there are definitely areas of opportunity for improvement. I've only come here 3 times so far, and there have always been some minor problems.
The first time, I came with 3 others and one of us received undercooked food. She bit into her shrimp and said it was disgusting. I looked at it and immediately recognized it as not being cooked. Basically, the shrimp was still gray. They ended up comping her food which was definitely more than fair.
The second time, I came with 6 others. It was as busy as the first time. It was hard to get a refill, and when we did, it was mostly ice. I feel like the waitress just didn't care enough to be hospitable. I thought I was the only one, but the rest of the party had the same complaint. They charged gratuity on that, so we didn't tip anything extra.
The third time, it was just me and my one friend who was with me the first time. The server lost the ticket and came back a few minutes later to take our order again. When my food came, it was spiced at the 2, rather than the 0 that I had ordered. My friend's was supposed to be a 4, as it was labeled, but it had less spice than mine. I ordered both a tea and a water so I can have enough to drink without having to rely on a refill. The water cup is pretty small and almost insulting. The waiter came to our table about an hour later and grabbed my cup for tea. I thought I'd be receiving a refill, but he just came back with the check. I still tipped him properly, but I feel like I shouldn't have.
Normally, this would be a 3 star review with such a lack of servuce, but the food here is good when it's good and there's not another place like it for a few miles, I'm sure. I would still go back despite the lack of better service.
Know that you'll probably be spending an average of 25-35 dollars...
Read moreBefore my experience this evening, I was a fan of Angry Crab. Iâve been to this location several times, and though every visit wasnât 100% perfect, overall I was pleased enough to be a repeat customer. Tonight, I arrived at about 5:10pm with a friend and we were seated about 5:25pm. We were told that due to the state curfew in place, they would be closing at 7 (also noted on this FB page). Unfortunate circumstances, but understandable. We placed our food order just after 5:30pm. Our dinner food arrived at 6:13pm, which was a bit slow from the kitchen, but not a major concern at this point. The manager, Amber, came to our table at 6:28pm to announce that they would be closing at 6:30pm, and therefore we had 2 minutes to pack up our food and leave. Iâm probably the most reasonable level-headed person around, but I found it to be completely shocking that my food had just been given to me 15 minutes prior, and now thereâs a manager asking me to pack up and get out. When I brought this timeline to Amberâs attention, her reply was âwell, thereâs other tables who got their food around the same time, and theyâre fine with it and being understanding sooooo.â If youâve been to Angry Crab, youâre aware that these arenât the kind of meals you can quickly polish off in 15 minutes. Our server was great, though he admitted that the kitchen got busy with to-go orders, which I guess explains why there was a delay. Having working in the service industry, Iâm just really taken aback by the managerâs incredibly unapologetic approach to all of this. My concerns were not met with any sort of service-focused response, just âtake your stuff and go, how many containers will you need?â I understand thereâs a lot going on in the world in terms of current events, but that doesnât excuse the behavior my friend and I...
