I was walking west on Dunlap and the "Cultivate Coffee" sign caught my eye. Even though I just had a Starbucks coffee, I'm a coffee fiend and always have time for more coffee, not to mention, I was starving and hoping they had food too.
When I walked in, I really liked the unique homey look, unlike the standardized chain looks. There are nice seats, tables for work but also a living room area where I relaxed and added points as soon as I saw the great view of the hills perfectly filling up the front window.
Barista, Timothy, did a great job taking my order and explaining their offerings. I thought he was the owner because he really knew his stuff and was very on top of things.
My everything bagel with turkey, ham and cheese was delicious as was the salt and vinegar chips(Tim's).
Their homemade lemonade was fantastic. For dessert, my vanilla latte and strawberry iced poundcake were winners.
This is a locally owned, small business cafe that I definitely support.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter having high hopes, we left this place disappointed. I ordered a standard iced vanilla latte; it was okay. Instead, the issue was brushed aside, leaving us feeling dismissed and like our feedback didnāt matter. Great customer service can turn a disappointing drink into a positive experience, but this was not the case. We left unsatisfied and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI tried this local coffee place with a friend and we both loved it. The Kentucky joe is a cold brew served over ice and was bold and very flavorful. My friend really enjoyed his vanilla latteā
I ordered a burritošÆ (egg potato and cheese) and it was delicious. My friend had a half bagelš„Æ sandwich with dietary restrictions. Cultivate went out of their way to meet his needs.
There was plenty of open space, I was in a wheelchairāæ and had room to move around. There was a couch across from comfy looking chairs where people were talking.
