I actually went to this dump on 3/14/2012, but I guess they deleted my review. Honestly I'm surprised they're still in business if the same person is the owner. And I haven't been back since, almost 13 years later. Here's my review from that day: I just got back from Daddy O's and honestly, this was the worst customer service I've EVER experienced. It all started when they brought out the "coffee" which was not only see-through, but had no flavor at all. When I told the waitress, she actually told me to try it, like I was 12 years old. I told her that I know that I do not like coffee that is see-through, and that I would like another cup that was like real coffee instead of watered down nonsense. So then the owner comes out, and just poured the same batch of coffee into an opaque mug instead of a glass mug. And I could still tell it wasn't going to be right. He apparently took it personally that he can't make decent coffee, because then he started blaming his vendor, telling me he made it per their instructions. Meanwhile, the food took so long, that my cousin and her boyfriend had to cancel their orders and leave because they had an appointment.Well, apparently they canceled the wrong orders, because when the food finally came they brought the two canceled meals, and not the other two. So now, my Aunt and husband have to wait 20 minutes longer for their food. There was a shift change and I guess the woman who took our order wasn't even an employee, she was just "helping out". The real waitress shows up, and was actually very nice and was sincerely apologizing for everything. The owner is just a douchebag, to be honest. On the way out, he tells my husband that he was sorry the coffee wasn't good enough. Gee, that's a great way to deal with your customers, and he is so lucky that I didn't hear that. We won't be coming back OBVIOUSLY, and I'm sure they won't be in business for long. The owner could certainly use some customer service classes, because he has no clue how to deal with people. The customer is always wrong at this place, and I would NOT recommend...
Read moreJust moved to Phoenix from Wisco, wanted to check out this place out cause it’s a mile away from the new house.. Had a group of 8 people come in to watch the Packer’s play the Bears on prime time Sunday night... probably about 25 total people in this place when we walked in. The first bartender ignored my friend and I (ordering 2 pitchers). The following bartender gave us enough sass to make the Grinch look like Santa. We seated ourselves and weren’t greeted until I went back to bar asking for menus, inevitably got the pitches of beer at this point. Meanwhile the Packer game wasn’t even being played on the biggest projector they have (south corner on an angle). Seriously I asked the bartender 4 times to put this game, we missed the whole 2nd quarter... At one point the “server” came and asked us for the order; I quote server because she acted as if it was a conspiracy to ask for split bills. After placing the order, my friends and I played a game of pool and darts - which the #1 ball has a sizable chip in it.. play at your own risk. AN HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES PASSED OVER BEFORE THE FOOD CAME OUT. Full disclosure; I have nothing against smoking and enjoy a cigarette myself, however this “server” was a walking ashtray when she eventually brought out the 7 burgers, 1 chicken wrap. I mean really, McDonald’s could have served a congressional meeting in the time it took for this food to show up. Now as we are eager to indulge, the food was so cold that we had a completion about who could eat their’s the fastest... For instance I’ve had bad service before, even dine & dashed an IHOP in Madison Wi one time because it was that disrespectful. But this... Daddy-O’s is absolutely the worst sit down experience I’ve had. We might as well have ordered Chinese delivery from a place 2.5 hours away. That said.. the bathrooms are up kept so that have that going from them. P.s. I wrote this in-between the time it took the “server” to bring us the bill(s)...
Read moreI went their last night with family and friends to watch The Desert Flowers perform. We ordered our food with no problems. When the food arrived, my son thought his chicken strips that he had ordered tasted funny, and he wanted me to try a bite. I tried a bite and was disgusted. the chicken was raw, not even warm inside. We let our waitress know and ordered another dish that was $1.00 more because he did not want to order the same thing and take a risk of having it not cooked properly. The waitress brought his new dish out and my son was pleased. When it came time to pay the bill, I thought that because my son was served raw chicken, that his meal should be comped. The receipt had his chicken strip meal, but not the meal that was a $1.00 more. So they were basically giving us a $1.00 off of our tab because we were served raw chicken. The waitress told us that if she were to take the meal off of the receipt then she would have to take it out of her pay. That did not sound reasonable at all. I asked her if we could speak to the manager. She said that he had just left and that he would not take it off. I said do you have an assistant that we can talk to? She again said no. They did not have an manager at the facility. I asked her if she could call him. She said no. It seemed that all of our options had been exhausted. I gave her my credit card and told her to charge me whatever she felt I should be charged. I was tired of not getting anywhere. When she returned with my card and the receipt, she had taken off the meal. I have no idea if this is going to come out of her paycheck or not.
