Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Phoenix

Ok, I hate to be this guy, Left the gym to grab a drink and flatbread sandwich. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a girl, didn't catch her name but she was a thin blond girl. great atmosphere.........until.....a little kid was running around the back of the store.....i get it kids are loud but WOW! so many questions go through my head like i know workers are trained to wash their hands.... what's this child touching, whatever maybe its the owners daughter (she would have a better understanding not to touch anything) and they stopped in.........but according to the cashier that's her coworkers child that comes to work with her.... When you finish a 2 hour workout session the last thing you want to hear is a child shaking an ice cup, and making whoo/whee noises while running around the kitchen while for what seemed like an eternity and no one stopping it and this poor cashier losing her mind not being able to do anything about it.....children do not belong in the work place, and I get it Stuff happens in life and we have no choice, i have 4 grown children and a 11 year old. but when mom is back on her phone and child is running around with no supervision...it becomes a problem, like give the kid a coloring book and have her sit in the lobby if you need. I just don't think health department is cool with this.......and its sad that i love this place but want to go somewhere else if a kid in running around like its a daycare center. Not the way to run a business tropical smoothy...

This is probably one of the worst tropical cafes that I have been too. We had placed an online order at 1pm. Order said ready at 1:45. We get there and there’s no one being helped. One girl in the back making food with her hair down wiping her snot that is dripping down her nose and then proceeding to cook more food. The lady in the front is completely clueless about how to handle a busy lobby. Doing dishes when she has a line out the door, talking on the phone while dealing with customers. Turn off your phone and attend to the customers, I understand you have a sale going on but you should have prepared for that. This tropical smoothie needs to be shut down instead of the one off bell. Completely disgusting and disappointing, 2 hours for a goddamn smoothie and boogers in my food. This store...

I used to love this place and frequented 3-4 times a week, until today, my fiancé went to pick up our orders which we were missing one item, instead of correcting, the girls argued that my fiancé was wrong and refused to provide the item even after I sent emails showing proof of what I had ordered, the girl refused to even look at the emails then begrudgingly said she wasn’t going to argue & made the item. In the meantime, a half hour has passed and the smoothie turned into juice and the food items cold, they refused to remake for us. Customer service is huge for me and this was a great disappointment because the food/smoothies are good but bad customer service is a deal breaker for me, I will not be...
