Hope youre ready to read cause Iv got plenty to say on this visit. Extremely disappointed. First the dishes they brought my kids food on, was dirty. We noticed after we sat down that there were 3 plates of food (not ours) sitting under the warmer ready to be taken to the table of whoever ordered them for the ENTIRE time my family and I were in the restaurant and those plates didnt move til we were leaving and before you assume they were for anyone else, again they didnt move. Counting my family, there were 2 other tables this night and 2 servers. That should have been a sign right away that this location was a bad choice, but we decided to give them the benefit of doubt, even though they were not busy in any sense of the word. There were flies and gnats flying all around our table and the restaurant constantly. 2 servers took our orders, separately (one for the kids, drinks and an appetizer) then someone else took the adult orders...we only ever received the kids food and appetizers and after 30-40 minutes the waitress finally came to check on our table and asked if we wanted our check as if we were done. Well, we still had not even gotten the adult meals served yet. Then after she went to see where our orders were, it turned out they hadn't even been put in the system or started cooking them yet and they didnt bother to tell us this. We seen and heard them talking about it. This was hands down, the worst Denny's experience we have ever had and we've been to quite a few in the valley as well as all over Az and a number of out of state locations. After realizing our orders had been neglected like this along with everything else, we got up to leave immediately. I went to pay for the kids meals and appetizers and again, they couldnt find the ticket in the system. It took like 10 minutes standing there to pay, while two of them failed at using a standard POS system they should be fully trained on. Nevertheless, Im pretty sure they just input what we did get, into the system again and rang me up for it. On top of this, on a side note, there was an Uber-eats delivery driver there to pick up an order and he was waiting for about 15 minutes only to find out, SHOCKER they didnt make the order he was supposed to pick up so, he left empty handed as well. My opinion, this location needs some better night time management and training. I get this area of town isnt the best, but that doesnt mean the quality of service shouldnt be the...
Read moreWhen I arrive this Denny's is themed in Arizona 60 -70 style. The front is clean and inviting. I am welcomed by the Denny's manager and a waitress. I walk to the restroom to wash my hands and the restroom was clean and taken care of. I return to the front entry way. I am asked if I have a request for seating. My seating request is granted. I notice a few guest inside having a meal. Not a busy place between 9pm - 11pm. I am notified that wall outlets for plugging in my Asus Tablet are near by my requested seating. The manager who showed me to my seat was observant of my carry along items. I am given a menu. I am asked by the manager if I would like a drink? The manager says the house drinks. I request an ice water and a coffee with French vanilla creamer. The waitress arrives and take my order. I order the crazy spicy skillet with no additions. I taste my coffee without creamer first. The coffee is hot and filled with medium roast flavors. I add the French vanilla creamer and 1 ice cube to chill to a temp mid hot and easy to drink quickly. The coffee is filled regularly with a wait of no more then 1.5 minutes on an average with my cup placed at the edge of my table that I am seated at. The manager or waitress see's to it. My meal menu item called the crazy spicy arrives. The food on the plate looks to fill the plate and be organized. The crazy spicy is a spicy plate with meats potatoes jalapenos and sauce. I would say that some would say this is a hot item in the mouth. I enjoy the heat or spice of the crazy spicy skillet. I will order the crazy spicy skillet at least once again. My service throughout my visit is prompt, satisfying and fulfilling. I may return to this Denny's location in the future for food and service. A Thank You to the manager and...
Read moreThe food was hot and fresh. However, the service definitely needs work. We arrived at approximately 7 pm on Saturday & there was only 1 other family dining in. Host sat us quickly, and the server took approximately 5 minutes to get our drink orders & appetizer, another 7 to bring out drinks. Took our order, and that took approximately 30 mins to receive. Mind you, we got our appetizer with 2 meals [we ordered 3 meals]and hoped to get an appetizer before any meal. The server at the time was hard to find or was walking around texting/ calling on her cell phone. When 2 meals came out, the server stated 6 more mins for meal 3, which was my husbands grand slamwich. We repeatedly asked for syrup, marinara sauce & ranch for appetizer & pancakes but our server failed to bring it out, we asked the host [black woman] who stated THAT'S NOT MY JOB BUT ASK YOUR SERVER!!! Mind you, this host was standing around on her phone, and again, this location was NOT busy. Omg, we were flabbergasted, no manger on shift. At this point, we wanted to walk out, but we'd been traveling most of the day & our daughter was hungry. Finally, my husband got his sandwich only to find out it wasn't made properly [missing bacon] and let the server know another 5 mins after bcus again she was on her cellphone in the back. She asked "ok what do you want me to do?" Omg, obviously FIX IT and give what we were PAYING for!! This is the worst service we'd ever received, we took our food to go and let our daughter finish, and we left. Denny's has definitely gone down in service and...
