I don't like to bad mouth restaurants. But in this case, I must bring something to managers and customers attention. I've been an active patron of this dennys off 35th Ave and Bethany home road. I don't like to post reviews, but a sweet young lady by the name of Sade D. managed to get one out of me. And ever since, I come into her shift, she greets me warmly as in we are family. She knows my order, what I like to drink. I even know a couple of the graveyard cooks. Now recently I was on a vacation, haven't went to this dennys for a couple months. I come in, expecting to see this hard worker who smiles so brightly for such a young age. Truly, she is a one in a million server. Imagine my surprise when I come in and she wasn't there. So I ask about her, turns out, she quit. I have heard her rave about her managers, how they are so good to her, treat her well, have helped her when it was needed. It didn't seem like the thing to do. So what did I do? I contacted her thorough social media. Turns out, she was on probation from dennys because of an investigation they did not bother to tell her until she came in early for her shift to get some food. She told me that she called the store, tried talking to her managers and every single one of them told her the same thing...that they didn't know anything and cooperate is the one doing the investigation. But it doesn't end there for the poor girl. She is left pretty much on read for two weeks of unpaid time, not knowing if she still has a job or not. She asked to be put on sick time and got denied, they didn't give her a reason. Sade told me she went into the store herself and spoke to her manager, Nettie Rios, who told her again, she knew nothing. Rightfully so, Sade was distraught. She makes the decision to quit herself because Nettie told her that's what happens when someone is pending an inspection. No one gets answers. This leads me to wonder how many other good employees have they lost because they don't communicate. And as if things weren't bad enough, Sade told me that she is not rehirable through their franchise, Stien. I looked it up, that's the majority of Dennys in this state. So not only did they mess her up for this location, but for all the possible prospects that are owned by Stien. This is despicable. So I'm writing this review so people who are planning on spending their hard earned money know what kinds of people are running their establishment. This does not mean that everyone at that restaurant follow the same morals as their managers. She spoke warmly of multiple servers their, from all shifts before someone says she is biased. So I suggest to anyone who does go in, ask for Brittany, Jess, Bethany, Rodrigo, Nellie or Soliel. Do...
Read moreThe whole experience was bad it took them 8 minutes to even acknowledge that we were standing there waiting to be seated when the lady came to see that she says oh wait, I got to clean tables. That took another 3 to 4 minutes. If I wouldn't have grabbed the menus for myself we wouldn't have had any it took another 10 to 15 minutes for someone to even come and asked if we wanted water or something to drink several other people were seated in the area we were after we came. The server finally came, she went to the others first then came to us told her we wanted water and we were ready to order she says hold on when he got the water came back walked away I said ma'am we are ready to order she says oh okay took our order when the food got there about 20 minutes 30 minutes later it was so overcooked the eggs were overcooked the little pieces of sausage were smaller than my pinky the bacon was way overcooked I was so unhappy with this whole service it took another 20 minutes to even get the check the people in front of us they were waiting for their check for a lot longer than we were they got up and walked out and did not pay maybe I'm rude but when I went to pay at the counter and it came up on the screen to leave a tip I did not leave a tip that is the worst worst restaurant I have ever been in in my life and it wasn't even a busy Denny's at all on that Saturday night and it...
