First,, this is not my first experience with this Dunkin, it’s just the first time I’ve written a review on them. I can say, i have tried probably four different sandwiches from here, and have just had at least a dozen interactions at this location. So what I speak of now is from experience, not just a one time unfavorable interaction. That being said, Where do I begin? I ordered a vanilla crème donut/ got a vanilla sprinkled. Ordered bagel bites- didn’t receive those at all. Ordered a sausage egg cheese croissant- cheese wasn’t melted, croissant was old and the sausage was ??? Didn’t taste or look like anything edible, I could not take more than one or two bites and I’m afraid of what the results of that decision might be. HORRIBLE. Terrible. Awful. Lastly, I also ordered a bacon egg & cheese on sourdough, what got was cold, dry, and tasteless imposter foods, trying to pass themselves off as bacon egg and cheese, served on sourdough BREAD. Not TIAST, just BREAD. Not even buttered. (Tip for DD: no one, ever gets sourdough NOT TOASTED!!) so the most positive thing I can say about that sandwich is that it now is in my garbage. That’s a plus. So, I’ve been trying to call the store to tell them what is up. Apparently answering their phone isn’t a business practice they’re engaged in. Shocker. I think that this Dunkin ought to give it up-maybe just make a few donuts and call it a day. Don’t do the breakfast sandwiches people because they ABSOLUTELY SUCK. I don’t see a whole lot of customer satisfaction in the reviews here, and as far as customer service goes? Never mind. There must someone who serves a decent breakfast that could make good use of this location, because this Dunkin’ needs to go, or the owners/managers/cooks etc should really consider another business altogether, far from the food and bev industry. Maybe open a used tire shop, or check cashing store. I know!! How about just investing in a Redbox?? That seems easy! Something, anything, but don’t serve food anymore because you really really really are terrible at it. That advice is free of charge -...
Read morelet me start by saying that breakfast is my most favorite food, I can eat breakfast any time of the day! but DD has spoiled it for me thrice. For today was my 3rd time trying breakfast, hated it! please just keep to the donuts which are delicious, the first time I tried the steak and egg breakfast sandwich, they microwaved the meat so the ends where toasted you know that over microwaved meat look.. and the toast was buttered and toasted but they had it inside out, I was able to deal with that just not the rest of the sandwich. 2nd time I had the sausage and egg, the sausage again microwaved with the egg, terrible that was the worst ever over microwaved sandwich, what happen to cooking to order off the grill? the hash browns where so soggy they were falling apart I couldn't even eat it, and of course not crispy! So today I decided for the 3rd time this morning, I would give it another chance...I mean you can't go wrong with a chicken biscuit, right? wrong! I also asked for my hash browns to be crispy and not soggy like the last time, I asked 3 times people, when I ordered, when I paid, and when I got to the receiving window again before I got my food. so what do I get... I received a cold coffee, and again soggy and NOT crispy hash browns (which by the way they only give you like six that are soggy and stuck together in grease, does any one in this place know what hot grease is that is needed to cook hash browns to make them crispy???) you can't just turn on the heat and drop the browns people if it's not hot enough! and the last and most dis-satisfying was my chicken biscuit.. yes people the biscuit was doughy in the middle, was not cooked all the way through.. needless to say I did get to eat breakfast for the third time! what do I have to do to get a good breakfast sandwich from this place? I guess not get breakfast and stick to the delicious donuts that they are known for ! - your neighbor -
FYI - I'm coming back this time...
Read moreThis is ridiculous guys! How many times are you going to forget to check the orders and charge a customer for an item not received?? We're not picking up breakfast and making a donation here. Not providing a receipt just makes it look more intentional. I've spoken to the manager there, she clearly does not care about customer service or customer satisfaction. By now, it just feels like shouting into the abyss, can anyone here this??
It is generally considered illegal to charge a customer for an extra item they didn't receive and then not provide a receipt. This practice can be seen as fraud or misrepresentation. In many states, there are laws requiring businesses to provide receipts for purchases.
Fraud and Misrepresentation: Charging a customer for an item they didn't receive is a form of fraud and misrepresentation. The customer is being led to believe they have received something for which they have paid, when in reality they haven't.
Receipt Requirements: While there may not be a universal federal requirement for receipts, many states and even cities have regulations requiring businesses to provide receipts for purchases, particularly those exceeding a certain value.
Consumer Protection: Laws are in place to protect consumers from being charged for items they didn't receive or for amounts that don't reflect the actual purchase.
Dispute and Recovery: If a customer believes they have been charged for an item they didn't receive or have been overcharged, they have the right to dispute the transaction with their credit card...
