IHOP — Restaurant in Phoenix

How do I leave ZERO stars they don't even deserve one.. where do I start. I will start by calling the health department because it's not a very sanitary eating environment when people go into disgusting restrooms and walk out to the dining rooms with filth on their feet from flooded toilets and poop smeared around. Very gross. There are codes on the door for a good reason. Anyways we Waited 15 min just for someone to greet us and seat us when we got there. Waited over an hour for food just to come out cold. We told our server and another server about the cold food, Before eating but ended up eating the food as we are heading out of town and needed to eat The Crepes sucked didn't have any fillling everybody's food was cold

The manager had the DAMN audacity to ask me if I wanted a to go box so I can microwave my cold food instead of resolving the problem in a more meaningful way. We also had to grab our own utensils and never got our waters refilled and my bestie could not even enjoy the all u can eat pancakes that were offered!!!

Bathrooms were very disgusting my elderly sustainable to illness mother is nearly legally blind and could not see if the bathrooms were in the yucky shape they were in when I walked in I was highly disgusted and felt very unsanitary being in the whole place We ended up getting a percentage off we did pay the bill and tipped our server ams reassired her that it wasnt her fault.

Another woman chased us out the door asking if we paid. It would have been more reasonable not to pay but They made us pay anyways because we ate all the food even though we were still hungry eating it cold cuz we waited a whole damn hour. I wish I took pics of everything. Also on our way out we weren't the only ones complaining I'm sure you will most likely receive more reviews on this place.

Please get a new manager and cooks if they are the issue. Or just simply close this location down. Dennys...

We went to IHOP during lunch today. The place was basically empty except for maybe 8-9 tables. When we got into the dining room almost all of the tables were dirty, tons of food on the floor. It took almost 10 minutes before someone came over to get our drink order. The hot chocolate came first. The glass of orange juice came maybe 5-8 minutes after. The glass of water, which I had to remind them of 3 times came 20 minutes later brought by the manager. We were a table of two and ordered a pancake combo and a crepe combo, and tables of 4+ that came after us who ordered more complex food orders were getting their food first, and they had the same waitress we did. But she didn’t bring out any of the other orders, she was only taking them. After 45 minutes of not receiving our food I told my boyfriend I wanted to leave and go somewhere else, so he went and found our waitress and told her we were just going to leave. She replied to him that the cooks were having trouble. So you mean to tell me The International House of Pancakes, was struggling with pancakes and crepes?? But can push out country fried steak in under 20 minutes?? We had heard another table of elderly ladies speaking to the manager about how it took them 40+ minutes to get their food, and his response to them was “I’m sorry it took so long to get your food out, but atleast you have it now. Can I bring over any hot sauce or ketchup?” So I knew speaking to him would be of no use, we paid for the drinks and got out of there. I’ve been going to that IHOP since high school and oh boy have they gone down hill. We ended up going to a another place, got our food, drinks, and paid our bill in under 30 minutes! We ate lunch at IHOP on Sunday February 29th 2025 at about 1:00 pm. We were one out of three tables. Our server was Vanessa P. We were greeted and ordered in a reasonable amount of time. The iced tea we were brought was so murky and muddy looking we could not drink it. The lemon that was in mine was dried up. For only one out of three tables in the entire restaurant it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. The country fried steak and eggs was completely cold. The warm butter could not even melt on the cold pancakes. The Cali (grilled) roasted turkey sandwich was soggy from setting so long. The bacon was overcooked and tough. The onion rings were cold. The waitress was rude, and most unfriendly. The table setting next (2 out of 3) to us ordered after us and got their food first. The third table got their food to go. At this point there were only two tables in the restaurant, when a single older gentleman arrived. No one greeted him and he had to ask if he could seat himself. After waiting over 10 minutes he asked if he could place his order with the bus boy. He was the only table waiting for food and it took 17 minutes for his food to arrive. Yes I timed it! They never came back to check on him and he had to ask for another glass of water. The two of us were exchanging looks and laughing at how horrible this restaurant was. I do not recommend this restaurant nor will we ever eat at this location again. On duty appeared to be one bus boy and three female waitresses. And they still could not give decent service to any...
