Read moreDutch Bros is good don't get me wrong however I do feel like its a bit over hyped, certainly overly priced in my opinion, interesting to say the least ideal for such a spot. The drink menu in my personal opinion is almost overwhelming, though there's what appears to read as an endless list of flavors and combinations it just seems like the drinks never fully hit, somehow I'm like never truly satisfied with anything I've ordered. Not even a picky person, and when it comes to my coffee lots of cream and sugar and you've got one happy camper! Sadly though, mediocre drinks by the end of it all usually. Not to mention the lines are always atrocious (Like there's a guaranteed at minimal 10 car ahead of you wait every time !) Though they do take your order and pretty quickly, because they usually have anywhere from one to two people out there in the lines walking around taking people's orders. However you definitely still have to wait to pull up to the actual window to get your order. Supposedly they sometimes bring the drinks out to you while you're in line but either way that doesn't help the whole Idea of getting in and getting out; from what the girl who worked there told me though contradictory to that I find it never to have been true for me, at least! And might I add, that only seems to have been a distraction tactic from management or maybe even one of those "above and beyond" type of employees to not feel so overwhelmed and neglected, because let's be real, it is what it is while waiting in such ugly lines lollll. Now for the true MVP SHOUT OUT for The Dutchiesss, Le' D-Bros, EL Dutch De BroBrosss Phoenix Suns Basketball Home game song playing in the background Thee Staff, How👏🏼Ev👏🏼Errrr👏🏼Are always extremely nice and go out of the way to literally talk to you, ask you questions, etc. So yeah, it's cool and all at the end of the day but this is also just my personal opinion and i am not legally at law to advise, persuade, enforce and/or convince or coerce under COFFEE&PRO DRANK LUVRS & CO. Read moreMan I feel so cringy writing this review because I am never someone to complain but this situation feels important to tell. So I have a pretty serious dairy allergy (my throat can swell up if I have too much) and I made it absolutely clear to the workers that I have a serious dairy allergy.
Tonight when I was ordering I specifically asked what drinks are dairy free. The nice girl taking my order listed off a few options and I picked one. Once I pulled up to the window, I asked the guy who made my coffee if it's 100% dairy free. I also told him I have a serious dairy allergy. He kinda shrugs and says "yeah it's dairy free"... I didn't feel like he was confident in his answer so I asked him one more time and told him it's really serious and I need to know for certain that my drink is dairy free (total karen move of me I know, but necessary to say the least). He looked a bit confused and told me yes, it's 100% dairy free.
So I made it clear as daylight that I need my drink to be dairy free and that I have a serious dairy allergy and my drink still eneded up having dairy in it. Once I got my drink and took one sip I immediately tasted the milk in the flavoring. Right then and there I took some liquid benadryl to counter the effects (I keep a bottle in my car for these exact situations). I then went back up to the window and asked them to check the ingredients in the bottle of flavoring, and go figure it had milk in it. I consider myself to be an extremely patient person, but I felt pretty frustrated at that moment. Fortunately the nice girl at the window made me a new drink that she was certain was dairy free. Us allergy people have it rough out there man ... all I wanted to do was enjoy a nice dairy free coffee drink ... but now I'm dosed up on some benadryl writing my first ever Google review.
I know it doesn't matter because Dutch Bros doesn't really cater to allergies, but maybe try and train your employees how important it is when someone says they need their...
