On Tuesday, February 4, my wife and I experienced the worst customer service ever from ANY restaurant in the Phoenix area. We live in the neighborhood and are frequent patrons. We arrived at 4pm and ordered an appetizer, two rounds of drinks and a pizza. We were sitting at a 2 person high top next to the wall and at 5pm, wait staff moved a high top table for two right next to our table which was now part of an 8 person table setting with 4 people moving their tables together next to us for trivia night. Our privacy was invaded so we moved to another 2 person high top. Minutes after we moved wait staff moved yet another high top table right next to us. We asked why where these tables moved next to us without any type of courteous explanation. A young male wait staff told us it was trivia night. We questioned this move and he told us if we didn’t like it we could leave. So we did!! Our pizza had just come out and we downed our drinks. We mentioned this treatment to the manager who told us we could change tables, which we already did! He didn’t get it! His staff was unbelievably rude to us. The kicker is trivia doesn’t start till 6pm. So for an entire hour in advance they ignored the people who were there spending money in exchange for their beloved trivia guests who would not be there for 60 more minutes. I had a very good experience today at Dynamite Beer Co. My wife and I stopped in for lunch and split the Outlaw Baby Ray stonebread pizza. We were expecting a personal sized round pizza, but when it came out, it was actually much bigger. If I had to guess, I would say it was 11x14 or so. This pizza was delicious. I was a bit nervous about the corn relish because I wasn't sure what that would be like, but it all worked so well together. Every bite was very consistent on flavor, and no one item over-powered anything else. The chicken was delicious, the bacon was crispy, and everything just worked so well together. It was the perfect mix of sweet and savory. I had a wonderful Raspberry beer, and my wife had a hard cider. I'm purposefully not including a lot of details about the drinks because this being a tap house, they rotate the items on tap. They have a variety of 20 different beers/ciders on tap as well as a walk-in refrigerator full of more. They also have quite a few wines available (maybe 10-14?).
