Place was LOUD and bustling. Servers running around. We were ignored and after 15 minutes we were just about to walk out, but decided to ask a server if they could help us. Even though there was a bearded server at the booth next to us a few times, he didn't give us a second glance. The female server said she would find out who was our server and we asked for water. She didn't come back. A few minutes later Josh came over and asked if we were being helped. He then took our order, brought us 1 water, we had asked for 2. He then spotted some people he knew at another table and went over to hug and greet them. Needless to say we were ignored. Good came out, still no Josh. Wings came swimming in Buffalo Sauce with 1 piece of celery and 1 carrot slice. Wings were lukewarm, at best. Pizza was just ok. Had to search for Josh to ask for more celery and carrots. He said he could ask. Quite some time later he walked out of the kitchen with a Styrofoam cup with celery and carrots in it. It almost didn't make it to our table, because he stopped to take an order from the children of his friends at the other table. He chatted it up with the kids and adults and walked away. Then he spotted the cup he set down at another table and brought it to us. By then we were almost finished. Had to ask him for more water. Not impressed. There was a man walking around, stopping at tables and chatting, I'm assuming it was a manager. Walked past us many times without even a glance. Music was LOUD, kids were running around yelling, parents were yelling at friends coming in. Like I said, not impressed. Pizza was ok, wings, too. Not...
Read moreWe've been coming here all season and I want to share my insight. I'll start with the pros:
Plenty of TVs Pretty good food Convenient location Good selection of drinks Nice layout (indoor/outdoor)
However the cons are significant enough that we will not be continuing our patronage.
Ineffective wait staff (Jo is great, Chavon Corrie was seriously the worst waitress I've ever worked with.) TVs are in various forms of disrepair They do not prepare. For instance, they're always slow in the AM EXCEPT when the Cardinals play and instead of planning for the expected rush they operate with the same amount of wait staff & Cooks (2 cooks). They miss out on the opportunity to wow those who continue coming back. (Our last bar took the time to get to know their repeats, names, teams, would have TVs ready), it's truly such a small and meaningful act that inspires passionate loyalty from customers. Their wings get smaller and worst tasting as the season progresses. The staff seem to bicker which is very telling.
Ultimately there are a lot of misses that if I were GM I would be actively working to improve, however based on the lack of pride shown in their food presentation, their employee attitude, and their managers apathy, I assume there is no GM or the "top" doesn't care. Even shown in their lack of responses to positive or negative feedback given here.
I cannot recommend this restaurant sadly, despite my best attempts to...
Read moreI don’t usually do this, but today I’ve got time.
I went to this bar with over 30+ TVs to watch Game 2 of the WNBA Finals, and of course, they couldn’t be bothered to switch even one TV. I get it, it’s Sunday and football dominates, but seriously? Out of 30+ TVs and five active football games, you can’t change just one for the hour I was going to be there? The bartender didn’t even think twice about telling me NO!
I’m a paying customer like everyone else, and it’s beyond frustrating to see not just the poor customer service but the blatant lack of support for women’s sports. It’s the Finals! If it were the men’s basketball finals, half the TVs would have been showing it. But for women’s sports? Nothing. It’s pathetic.
Needless to say, I won’t be coming back to this sports bar—not that they care. I’m just some dreadlocked, WNBA-supporting woman who doesn’t fit their male-dominated sports bar narrative. Clearly, if you’re not a guy there to watch football, you don’t matter to them!
Shout out to the customer at the bar asking what game I...
