I REALLY LIKE POLLO LOCO, THEIR CHICKEN IS SO DELICIOUS BUT...... WE WERE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO EAT, SO WE DECIDED FOR EL POLLO LOCO ON THOMAS RD AND 41TH ST, THERE WAS NO WAITING WHEN ORDERING OUR FOOD, ONCE WE GOT THE CUPS WE WENT FOR OUR DRINKS THEN I WENT TO FIND A PLACE TO SEAT. THERE WAS LIKE 10 PEOPLE OR SO EATING IN THE RESTAURANT, SO THERE WERE A FEW TABLES AVAILABLE TO SEAT. THERE I WAS GOING FOR MY FIRST CHOICE TO SEAT...EWW DIRTY, TABLES AND CHAIRS DIRTY, SECOND CHOICE FOR SITTING ...DIRTY.. THIRD AND FOURTH DIRTY.. FINALLY I FOUND A TABLE NOT REALLY CLEAN BUT NOT THAT DIRTY... THE SALSA STATION WAS A MESS, BUT A REAL REAL MESS, THERE WAS PICO DE GALLO ALL OVER, USED CUPS IN THE CORNER, LEMON, GUACAMOLE AND CILANTRO UGH.. IT WAS REALLY DISGUSTING.. THE LOBBY WAS SO MESSY DIRTY WITH CHAIRS OUT OF PLACE AND TABLES WITH FOOD, NAPKINS IN THE FLOOR, A HIGH CHAIR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LOBBY... SO I TOLD THE PERSON IN THE FRONT THAT THE RESTAURANT WAS REALLY DIRTY, THAT WE DIDN'T FIND ANY CLEAN TABLE WHERE TO EAT, THAT THE SALSA STATION WAS DISGUSTING.. AND WHAT DID HE DO??? HE SMILED, AND HE SAID: "OH, ITS DIRTY?, OK THANK YOU".. AND THAT WAS ALL, LIKE 2 MINS AFTER I TOLD THE GUY THE RESTAURANT WAS REALLY DIRTY, A CREW MEMBER WALKED TO THE SALSA STATION, POUR SOME SALSA OVER HER BURRITO NOT MINDING THE MESS, SHE JUMPED OVER THE HIGH CHAIR THAT WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LOBBY, AND SHE STARTED EATING HER BURRITO.. I MEAN, BEFORE GOING ON BREAK A MANAGER SHOULD SENT HER TO DO CLEANING IN THE LOBBY IN THE SALSA STATION BUT NO.... AND THE GUY IN THE FRONT WAS JUST CHATTING WITH THE GIRL IN THE WINDOW, UGH... I GUESS THEY DIDN'T CARE.. SO I ORDERED MY FOOD TO GO INSTEAD. WE ARE NEVER EVER GOING BACK TO THAT LOCATION OF EL POLLO LOCO.. WE GLADLY PAID FOR OUR FOOD LOOKING TO ENJOY SOME DELICIOUS CHICKEN, BUT I GUESS WE DIDN'T PAY ENOUGH TO GET...
Read moreThis is by far the worst location of any big chain restaurant that I’ve ever had the misfortune of going to! I always end up waiting for at least 4 to 5 minuets for service when I go inside, and of course I mean I’m waiting 4 to 5 minuets when no one else is in line but me. They’ll ether not acknowledge my presence and carry on their conversations or they keep cleaning up the dining area and won’t even be bothered with taking my order until they feel like it. Until it’s convenient for them to do so as supposed to stopping what they were doing and taking care of their customers. I mean that’s what customer service is all about right? I rarely go here and the only reason that I do go here at all is because it’s so close to where I work. But tonight was the worst transgression in all of El Pollo Loco history! These idiots actually made me a double chicken bowl without any chicken!!! Can you believe that!!!! How stupid can you really be?!!! Read moreWent in here to have a family meal with my aunt from out of town. When I walked in the door I noticed immediately that it was as cold inside as it was outside. They had the air conditioner blasting in December! Once we decided what we wanted I went up to order and I literally stood at the counter for 8 minutes before anyone came up to take my order. Had the place been busy I would understand but it was not. The employees were not the friendliest either. They seemed like they had chips on their shoulders. My husband ordered chips and guacamole and they gave his order without the guacamole we had to wait a good 2 to 3 minutes before they gave it to us. Once we sat down with our food I have no complaints as it tasted good and was at least hot. But the whole experience over all was a bit tedious and frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this place if you want somewhere warm and friendly to relax and eat. If you don't mind cold dining temperatures, long waits, and unfriendly staff and just want tasty food then...
