Cielito Park — Attraction in Phoenix

So many homeless people here. Also quite dangerous a few deaths shootings , stabbings knife fights. Definitely went downhill in the last 8 years they used to lock the gates at 10:00 pm , not anymore, they don’t even bother. The bathrooms are either always locked out of toilet paper and they DO NOT have doors on the stalls. Do not allow your children in their alone. There’s NEEDLES all throughout the fields. Pretty cool park. Super easy access with a bunch of parking. I showed up with my daughter around 2:30, and there were no kids there. I didn’t see any homeless, or people doing drugs, but there were some sketchy people who walked by. There is a bunch of profanity written across the entire playground, but that’s what happens when you put a public park next to a high school/middle school. A vibrant park with lot of activities throughout the day, a large playground for kids young and old - even some bar things to workout with (like pull ups, etc.). There's plenty of fields and tree-lined secluded areas.

There are two schools nearby with lots of children.

Plenty of water fountains installed through the park.

The restrooms are not accessible - which leads to why my review is a lower score: the park is nice but there's lot of trash, broken bottles and overall infrastructure that just doesn't seem to be...
