Famous Palermo's Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

Palermo's is located in the northwest corner of the strip mall behind the Fry's gas station. We didn't realize it was here, but for online reviews. We were not disappointed! Dine-in seating is available, but there are no servers. One must step up to the counter and place an order. This is the 2nd time we have been here, and have yet to try their pizza! After spotting calzones on the menu, we stopped looking for anything else. We ordered 3. Spinach & cheese, sausage & cheese, and pepperoni, sausage & cheese. I believe they will make anything you ask for, as long as they have the ingredients to do so. They were stuffed with cheese, but a little light with the meat. The dough was light and airy, just what we wanted on a calzone. Do yourself a favor, and ask for marinara sauce on the side. Thank you for reading the Honest Reviews4U! The restauran is very clean and the same can also be said for the restrooms. The parking area is also clean and is located next to the water store. The restauran is family friendly with televisions one for adults and one for the kids to enjoy. Drinks include sodas to beers you can order in a cup or pitcher. The chicken wings are delicious I ordered BBQ and hot wings with cheese pizza and yes the pizza was great with a thin crust. I ended up licking my fingers because I was delicious. The customer service was great and friendly and made sure my order was done correctly. This place has had celebrity guest in the past. I was expecting more of an Italian atmosphere, didn't get it. The "restaurant" was more like a fast food place. You place your order at the counter, no waiters/waitresses. The pizza however, was very good. The crust was thin and crispy (providing you like that kind). I ordered my usual mushroom and pineapple (don't knock it until you've tried it). The guys working behind the counter were courteous and friendly. The prices seem to be very good, however I am new to the area and I have seen prices for various restaurants all over the place, so I am not a good judge on this.
