In the rich tapestry of culinary experiences, every now and again, I stumble upon a thread that fails to match the vibrant hues we expect. Such was my visit to here. In a world where gastronomy often transcends borders, communication should be an asset, not a hindrance. The staff, while appearing friendly and warm, struggled with an immense language barrier. This created an uphill battle from the outset. Through the drive-thru, ordering 5 simple hard shell beef taco felt akin to playing a round of charades. Misunderstandings abounded, with "Carne Asada tacos" and "mini tacos" regularly being offered as what they believe I wanted. What should have been a quick, straightforward interaction spiraled into a near-farcical five-minute attempt at conveying my simple request. After a final total of $49.00 for what I'd assumed were five basic tacos, I had to recommence my linguistic dance with the staff as I knew it was wrong due to the price. Finally, with my order in hand, I hoped the food would redeem this initial communication calamity. Alas, this was not the case. To call the food unsatisfactory would be an understatement. Each bite was an invitation to a world of overcooked ingredients. The culinary tragedy of the burnt taco meat, reminiscent of last week's discarded leftovers, was a low point. Attempts to ameliorate its hardness with a dab of sour cream were in vain, the dismal taste refusing to be masked. The shrimp quesadilla was an enigma in itself. A heap of shrimp clustered awkwardly in one segment of the tortilla. While the shrimp had a decent flavor, the seasoning was heavy-handed, resulting in an overly salty experience. An underlying off-flavor hinted at a skillet that hadn't been cleaned adequately, adding another unappealing dimension to the dish. The only saving grace was the texture - cooked just right, even though the experience as a whole remained disappointing. In summary, this fast food restaurant offers a meal that is a study in disappointment, from the insurmountable language barrier to the distressing quality of the dishes. With an unsettling culinary journey that fails to justify the pricing, I can't help but feel that the establishment might need to revisit its commitment to customer service and culinary standards.

Pretty sure most of my burrito meat goes in another customer's burrito. I've long believed it's because I don't order in Spanish. The food increase tripled in price since the 90s, yet the quality went way down. Not sure if it's training, pride or both. I regret how I used to praise and support these chains during my lunches in high school. Smaller burritos give extra tortilla in each bite. I had to unroll the burrito contents over the flavorless pink rice, revealing they can't even sear the meat. Why fill the sauce containers less than half full? Do you expect everyone to ask for a lot of sauce? I actually stopped asking for it years ago. Not even the green sauce tastes good anymore. The styrofoam is black, it used to be white. I guess all the budget went towards styrofoam dye? People, you can cook this stuff better at home. Well, maybe not the beans. We have hard water in AZ so beans are a different topic. Most the burrito meats are bland, greasy and easy. Save your money. If you're trying to recapture that nostalgic Mexican fast food flavor memory, take a number. It will never happen. I'm gonna leave this picture right here to help you decide. I can make better Chile Verde at home, and that's coming from a white guy that still messes up omletes. Let's forget these chains already. They forgot how supportive we were in beginning. We're not in the preferred customer club anymore.

After a long day of attending a family funeral, and then spending time after services honoring the loss of our loved one with family we decided to stop at 35th and Bethany home road to get something simple and easy to eat since most places were closed around 11:30pm-12am. The food tasted wonderful up until I went to take the last 3-4 bites, I got a chicken bowl with everything on it and got cheese added to it and my husband got a number 20 combo one enchilada and one taco with rice and beans.. spent about $32 here and after getting to our place we are staying at while in town for the weekend I went to finish my Chicken bowl and felt like something was stuck in the back of my throat tried to swallow and it didn't go away so I went to the restroom to look in the mirror. And what do you know I seen something skinny almost like a thorn sicking straight out so I reached into my mouth to pull it out and thought maybe it was a piece of Cilantro but no it was a tiny metal piece of wire! This location will no longer get my business I could of had it lodged in farther than what it was and would of ended up in the ER, but thank God it didn't and I was able to get it out.

This Filiberto's is typical. Same brick and mortar design of course common to mist franchise. There is one thing I like about this one, is a discovery I made that is probanly relative to to them all. On Wednesday, a fat bean burrito cost $1.49!. Now normally a bean burrito cost around four dollars and the way I enjoy mine is to add rice and sour cream wich on a normal day brings my total to about $6 bucks. But on Wednesday beans& cheese burrito with rice, sour creme comes to about $2.60 The good news is that each day of the week at Filiberto's possess its own discounted item(s). Now, before we get to the bad news allow me to present another culinary pocket pleaser...I apply a high protein diet to myself and beans are instrumental in the process. So at Filiberto's I get a small tray of beans and rice 50/50. Then I add chips, raw and cooked onions, Q'cumbers, carrots, jalapenos wich were all free"condimentals.

Now, in my opinion this is the bad news. So, though we're getting awsome culinary values from Filiberto's 7days a week but I often have the problem of price inconsistency. At one Filiberto's I pay $3.20 for a small tray of rice, bean and cheese. At another Filiberto's not far from the other mentioned ,both in Phoenix, charged me $1.46 more. Feeling like my frugal nature was being violated I contested it for at least 5 minutes. I wasn't going to win over the argument with a woman who only understood partial English and my stomach was growling uncontrollably. So I was unhappy about the inconsistency and pricing know that does occur sometime in franchise business when franchises are not owned corporately. But anyhow I hope that you find the daily deals helpful...

way too expensive for the inconvenience it is.

rude employees order is never right wait time is always long even if youre the only car expensive speaker makes it hard and frustrating to order hair in food food is not good. cold, not cooked all the way, hair in it, and small portions for price

2 burritos came out to 30$. one plate with a small amount of rice and beans cost 25$.

not worth the very very VERY long wait. its a whole hour in the drive through. even at times when im the only car there, it takes about 30 minutes. in all the times i visited i never had fast service with or without a line.

the customer service is bad. the people never smile, are rude, and grouchy.

my order is always WRONG somehow. whether its missing part of the item or the order is just all wrong. everytime i go theres always something that needs to be fixed.

sodas never have any gas in them. be sure to take a sip of the drink before leaving because most of the times the whole thing doesnt have gas and i have to dump it out.

the drive thru speaker is either broken or way too old it needs to be changed out. they can never hear me through the speaker most of the time i have to pull up to the window and order there.

overall the plates went from 9$ to 17$. its just not worth it anymore. i used to come here because its 2 minutes from where i live.

but the wait is too long, my order is never right, the employees are way too rude, ordering through the speaker is way much of a hassle than it has to be, they charge for every little thing now (the packets with chilis and carrots). they are money hungry. its not worth it anymore. im never going back. they have lost my...
