Went there for lunch today at 1:10 pm and having been there many times before, today's experience was completely terrible. The customer service could not have been any worse. Given the pandemic conditions of having to wear a mask and a having clear plastic barrier between the cashier and the customer adds to the difficulty of clear communication. The music was so loud, I could not hear what the cashier was saying. I had to repeatedly ask him what he was saying. My wife and I stated twice that we could not hear what he was saying because the music was too loud. He either could not hear us or chose to ignore us either way, this was rude. We eventually went outside into the 100+ degree heat to eat because we could not hear each other inside Also the furniture outside was filthy. There were two other customers that left with out placing orders. Management needs to look into this matter because they will lose many more customers given this situation. If I ever choose to purchase food there again and this scenario repeats it self, I will go else were and never return. I only gave it one star because it will not allow me to give it ZERO stars. Read moreI placed my order today at 5:50pm for delivery, I am down the street and usually it's really fast but today was probably the worst experience i have ever recieved at aby restaurant.. so at 7:06pm I still had not recieved my order so I decided to call them to make sure everything was okay. This was the interaction Me: "I wanted to check on my order that was placed a little over an hour ago please" to which she responded "was it for pick up" and I said " No mam, this is a delivery order placed online under veronica" and she said "ohhhh, umm well I've been meaning to call you, but um we don't have a driver at the moment so if you want to come pick it up then you can" I said "umm well it's been over an hour and I am unable to pick it up" and she laughed and said "oh yeah hahaha we are in the middle of a rush I guess" I said okay can I please have a refund and she agreed but wasn't able to really answer my questions about the refund itself. I have a new born at home and don't have a vehicle which is why I couldn't pick it up. What has happened to this place honestly! I was not rude by any means. Nope not according to the extremely unfriendly female there today, who had us standing and waiting a good amount of time while she was on a computer, no acknowledgement, and no hi, I'll be right with you. Nothing! No other employee or customers were there. No sale on the combos is what we were told. The bread was rock hard and hurt to bite it, the sandwich was tasteless. I paid in cash and gave the amount of $30.35... the amount due was $30.28. she couldn't count the money and slammed the drawer and walked away to make the sandwich. 1.
