McDonald's — Restaurant in Phoenix

I really wish I could leave a zero-star review. This isn’t my first issue with this location—they can never get a small order right. You just can’t get good service from any fast food restaurant these days because the employees seem indifferent.

Today, I went through the drive-through and ordered a plain cheeseburger Happy Meal with chocolate milk. The zombie monotone female voice replied, “First window.” After waiting several minutes without any cars moving, I backed up and went inside, hoping for faster service. I explained to the guy at the counter about the drive-through delay and mentioned I had a hungry child in the car and was in a little hurry.

I then ordered the plain cheeseburger Happy Meal with chocolate milk again. He told me they were out of chocolate milk. Question - why didn't the lady in the drive thru tell me they didn't have chocolate milk? Anyway, I told him I didn’t even need the drink, so he rang me up for just a cheeseburger and fries, which cost more than the Happy Meal. Finally, he keyed in the correct order, and I paid. He then told me with a slight attitude, “It ain’t gonna be ready any faster because it’s just me and him.” Question - where is the female that took my order? I saw her in the back. Is the manager too good to help with orders? Anyone else there during dinner time or does he really want me to believe there are only 2 teenagers running the whole restaurant during their busiest time of day?

I told him he should have mentioned that before I placed the order inside. I dropped the receipt on the counter and walked out. I don’t care about my $ - I just want better service, so I’ll go...

I just had the worst experience that I have ever had at this McDonald's in Cave Creek. There was no one waiting for service in the restaurant. I walked in and was ignored by at least 3 counter people. One was standing at a register talking on her cell phone. She walks away and a few minutes later announces that she is on break....."but she'll take my order." A second girl walks over and stands there wanting me to pay for my order...... I had not been given an amount! The first one laughs and tells her $6.05. I pay and begin the wait. 5-10 minutes go by and the second one asks the cook if my burger is ready. His response....."when I get the time!" I wait another 5 minutes; nothing is happening, so I ask for my money back. The manager comes over and offers a partial refund because they had made my shake (10 minutes ago) which is still sitting on the counter. I'm done waiting, just want my $6.05 back! She tells me that is the wrong amount. I tell her that is what the other two charged me. The manager very begrudgedly give me my $6.05 and as I'm walking out, makes a very rude remark to my back. I turned around to ask her to repeat what she had said and she just turned and moved back behind the front counter area. Because I spent a lot of time on the road, I frequent many fast food establishments..... I have never seen such a rude display of bad service ever. This is not the first time for bad service at this location, but by far the worst. I can accept a lot of youthful misjudgement, but something has to be done to solve this...

I was in the area for work and found myself in a pinch as far as lunch is concerned. Figured I would swing through here and give it a shot as I had never been to this location before.

The staff was friendly and helpful but, I couldn't find myself wondering why it was taking as long as it did to get through the drive thru. It was just myself and the vehicle in front of me but it took nearly fifteen minutes to get my hands on my food. Typically I'm not pressed on time but I didn't have a large window for lunch and couldn't linger too long. Otherwise all in all if you're looking for a bite to eat I would definitely say stop by this location.

Stopped by this location as I was in the area, I wish I had chosen a different path to food today. I walked in because the app wasn't working and I could not prepay for my order, not the end of the world. I wait at the counter for about five minutes, no one comes to help so I try placing an order through the kiosk, however the kiosk won't let me pay for my order and I end up waiting a few more minutes to pay for it at the counter. As time goes by I start to wonder if I'll have any time left to enjoy my meal. Answer, No. Eighteen minutes go by before my meal makes it into my hands. My order you ask? Double cheeseburger, Spicy McChicken and a large drink.. so I eat as quickly as I can as I have five minutes left to eat, make it back to work late as a result. Will not be stopping at this location again as it takes way too long and I'm better off spending the extra cash at other...
