McDonald's — Restaurant in Phoenix

Update 10/06/24 Well I've been back here several times and today not much has changed. Same issue with employee not wanting to honor the "PROMO receipt" at this store. Filling out the servery at McVoice.com allows you to "buy one get one free" and here again the employee said the manager wouldn't allow them to take PROMO receipts. Also interestingly the prices have all gone up higher on a number of items at this McD location. Sad, I guess I have to drive a little further north on 7th to Bell Rd and get better service and respect!

I paid $1.59 for a sausage mcmuffin at this location and the day before I paid only $1.29 for the same item at the PV Mall Mcdonalds. And to make matters worse I paid $1.89 for just an English muffin at 7th St & Tbird and only $1.00 at the PV All Mcdonalds. I feel I was over charged by $1.29 for the same food items. I'll be thinking of stopping at "other" McDonalds locations from now on due to 7th St & Tbird over charging on their items. I'm not happy with this issue!

UPDATE: 5/10/2023 Well I made the mistake of coming back here again. This time I wanted to use a McD PROMO receipt where McD rewards the customer for taking the time to fill out a survey online with the corporate office about the McD location; they give you a code to write on the receipt and you are then entitled to receive a free item of equal or lesser value on the next visit to a McD location. However at "this location 7th St & Tird" "they" don't honor the promotion coupon code. The employee told me that the manager will not allow McD coupon reward PROMO that are from other McD locations. I stop a many different location and ALL of them recognize the coupon even if it's from other stores. However 7th St & Tird will not honor the same PROMO coupon. So I'm NOT stopping here for anything else in the future. I'll drive the extra 2 miles north on 7th St to Bell and enjoy a meal there before I'll buy anything here on Tbird again.

Been to this location twice, both times my order was overcharged and incorrect. When I made the correction with the store manager she came over and grumbled about having to make the correction. Then tried to hand me less money back in cash than was charged on my card on both occasions!!! When I corrected her she grumbled both times about it. The second time even flat out saying she doesn't know how to do math. How do you have a manager who doesn't know how to do math?? Her name was Rosie. After finally taking the card back and charging it back on the card like I had asked to the first time (and she told me she couldn't do that) she then charged the correct amount. This whole process took about 4 minutes. The first time it also took about 3 or 4 minutes. I asked if there was anything that could be done about the inconvenience. The manager made no such reparations for her mistake and grumbled at me even asking. This whole thing has just been absolutely poor customer service. I have video recordings of both occasions with the manager trying to rip me off. They'll most likely get posted online. I wonder with the current trend online with major fast food restaurants if this McDonald's will want to keep a manager such as this... I wouldn't if it was my location. Bad business. I also had to take my coffee to another McDonalds to have it made correctly... also use the left lane if you do decide to go here, I sat in the right lane for 3 minutes waiting for someone to take my order while orders keep getting taken in...

Fast Food standard for fat americans. If you've had it anywhere...it'll taste just like that, again and again. So even though it's loaded with America's two original white powder drugs ( white refined sugar and bleach white flour)...it's guaranteed to have nominal nutritional value and pump up your blood sugar just before the hot grease and salt nose dive in to laying around and watching tv. .. to be fair, these guys as a corporate chain ...got the model down pat,..that's real, but even if they launch a vegan menu and offer addiction couseling for free....I'll never award more than two stars because the ONE important oversight that lost them my loyalty (corporate take note: the removal/discontinuation of "HI-C Orange non-carbonated Drink and it's replacement by "FANTA ORANGE SODA"....just what America needs another Soda choice"...and guess what, the other "guy in the box" & "Burger Royalty " now offer SEVERAL flavors of "HI-C" . And you have NONE. So as a Parent, and the from the 10yr old nostalgic kid in me...... IT WAS A...
