Pat’s Pizza Plus has a cool, almost old-school mob vibe when you walk in definitely gives off those classic Italian-American movie feels with all the posters on the walls. It’s the kind of place that has character and makes you feel like you stepped into a scene from Goodfellas or The Godfather. The atmosphere alone sets it apart from your average pizza spot, and it’s a good experience from the moment you walk in.
The pizza itself is solid. I personally wish it had just a little more sauce, but the flavor was still there, and the dough was on point—nice texture, not too thick or thin. Where they really impressed me, though, was with the wings. Easily my favorite part of the meal. They had that perfect crunch on the outside while still being juicy on the inside. I do wish they had more flavor options, especially honey hot, which is my go to, but even without that, the wings were still worth it.
Customer service was another highlight of my visit. The cashier I wish I caught his name was super friendly and made sure we felt taken care of. He was attentive and really made the whole experience feel personal. It’s the kind of service that sticks with you and makes you want to come back. Overall, Pat’s Pizza Plus has a lot going for it between the vibe, the wings, and the great service. I’ll...
Read moreI was informed of this Pizza establishment from my fellow Doggie Park' parents when I groaned that there are just no "GOOD" places to get pizza these days. Its so, so, so sad what Yum brands has done to Pizza Hut with its frozen pizza doughs as well as how Yum brands has also decimated Taco Bell, Long John Silvers and KFC. Nonetheless, Pats Pizza had been brought up with resounding great reviews. I was also informed that there was a birthday party for one of 'the Parents' there soon, so we decided to give this place a try.
The entire experience that evening was most pleasurable. The staff was very accommodating in allowing us to move tables to accommodate our large party, and were quite attentive despite being rather busy with phone orders and take out.
I was quite pleased with the pizza's we enjoyed, I like lots of veggies and meat topping on my pies and the ones we enjoyed were quite adequate in that respect. The wings 3 different types within our party, were inconsistent, the coating of 'sauces' could have been more consistently coated, but still quite enjoyably and good sized pieces cooked nicely.
All in all we have found our 'go to' pizza place even though it is a 14 miles drive, one way.
Great Job...
Read moreBefore I tried this restaurant I read the reviews. The restaurant has 4.4 stars and people are raving about the food so I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the Sicilian style pizza, garlic bread with cheese, and spaghetti with marina.
I was excited when my food arrived but was quickly disappointed. Here is why:
The Sicilian pizza: Yes, Sicilian pizza has a thick crust but Pat's Pizza Plus Sicilian pizza crust is EXTREMELY bready! It's waaaaaay too thick, more like a loaf of bread. To make matters worse, the sauce was spread very thin. The little sauce that was on there was tasteless.
The spaghetti with marina: It is tasteless, watery, mush. The sauce has (literally) ZERO olive oil, basil, garlic, oregano, salt. It is as if someone opened up a can of pureed tomatoes and dumped it on over cooked thin spaghetti noodles and that's it.
The garlic bread with cheese: A soggy mess.
I threw all of the food outside and fed it to the birds. I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. I am very disappointed that I spent $60...
