Pete's Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Phoenix

I haven't eaten Pete's in about 10 years just because I felt the quality went downhill a long time ago anyways today I stop by and was reminded why I stopped going there. I got the monster burger meal and four shrimp and chips and my total was under $15 which is not bad. However my burger tastes like a flandries burger ( the cheapest premade burger at the grocery store). The taste was awful the bread was fine, the French fries used to be so much better but they're fine, the shrimp was okay and the soda was great. The burger had a texture that was mushy and didn't feel like ground steak. I will not be going back again besides that location doesn't take debit card, like we're in 2024. I'm not a skinny person, I appreciate food but I did not finish my food and that says a lot about me because I will eat pland food no problem, this was just not good. I will continue to eat my fish and chips from Ed's in Avondale. I don't care where I'm at I drive very far still to go eat that fish and chips to this day and it's...

WOW! What could I say good old Pete's you know Pete's back in the day was bringing families together at the dinner table the legendary sauce mouth-watering fish and chips was a definite treat back in the day speeding up things to the present things have changed but if you limit yourself and go to Pete's now and then you will be able to steal saver that moment that you did back when you were a kid I had the four piece fish and chips and wow very very tasty BTW make sure you pay with cash take cash with you because they don't take plastic there although they do have conveniently and ATM placed outside save yourself a few bucks and just pay with cash that's your best bet there I recently went to the 27th Avenue Van Buren location which is in my opinion still one of the best spots in town to receive your official tasty treats from Pete's Fish and Chips they still keep it real on some of their provisions have a good one...

We went to the 26th ave location. Loving the customer service! Went through the drive thru today and got the fish sandwich, and the number two. With the #2 comes the two piece fish. So I ordered a side of tartar sauce. We get our food and it turns out that I got the steak sandwich. It wasn’t what I ordered but that’s alright. The sales girl apologized and I was like it’s alright. As we left, we realized there was no tartar sauce so we turned around thru drive thru to get it. Once we told her on the speaker, she says to go ahead around to get it. So we get the sauce and a tiny brown bag with something in it. We leave. Find out that my fish sandwich is in the bag!
