Bacon cheeseburger was good. The fries were good that came with the order. The wings I got a special it was a dozen for six dollars. And they charge you for the ranch which is a dollar. The way they bill you does not match with the price. What I got was a handwritten bill. My burger was 12. The wings were $6.60 and the ranch was a dollar so when I got the final bill, it was all handwritten. Nothing was printed out by a computer. I did the taxes with 7% on what was shown. My taxes came out to two dollars. When I paid my bill. My bill was 24. And I had to use the ATM machine because their card reader for my debit card. Their machine was down so I had to pay another three dollars to the ATM. That’s an in-house ATM. I think it’s kind of a scam because they shake you down for the three dollars to take money out and then the bill was more than what the amount added up to even with taxes so all in all by the time I walked out the door. I dropped $27. Or a double cheeseburger a dozen wings that were on special and one ranch for a dollar kind of a lot. Do you wanna come down and check it out. Service was very slow. The only time I seen my server was when I got lost trying to go to the bathroom because I couldn’t read the signs it was dark. Got lost in the restaurant. Then when I sat down, it took about 15 minutes before I saw my server again and then my food was quick. Burger was really good. Wings were OK. But trying to get my bill and settle up and get out of there took almost another 1520 minutes. The server was just by yourselfso I don’t blame her for delay. There’s so many people in there at least dozen people sitting around the bar, seeing her hands full with all these people, asking for drinks and taking orders. But the...

Came in with a friend for a late lunch while she wanted a beer. We found abooth and sat down and chatted while we waited for the bar lady to come to our table. Neither of us had been there before so we weren't sure how things worked there. After about 10 minutes she finally walked over to us. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries with a Coke to drink. My friend ordered a draft Dos Equis. We continued chatting for a bit until we realized the bar lady hadn't brought my friends beer yet. It took us almost another 10 minutes on top of the already 10 minutes we had waited before she came over and asked us if there was anything we needed. My friend promptly replied, "Yeah, the beer I ordered!" The bar lady began to apologize and said that she had completely forgot about the beer and would go get it right now. So the beer came and a bit later cacti brought out my burger and fries with all the condiments I could ask for. The burger was really good and the fries were awesome. Seasoned fries are the best. When the bar lady brought us our check she whispered to my friend that she wasn't going to charge us for the beer and to make sure we cashed out with her. I will start off by saying that the food is AMAZING! I love the hot wings and their fries. The food is the only reason why I go back to this place, if the food was bad then I’d never step foot into the Purple Turtle again. The problems with this place mainly, is that when you seat yourself, it takes absolutely forever to get the attention of a waiter (like 15-30 minutes), and I’ve been here during the early afternoon on a weekday when virtually no one else was there. After you order your food, it’s takes even longer for you to get it, I always order wings and fries and that takes over 40 minutes to get to my table. Once again, wings and fries are pretty easy and fast to make, and there’s no other orders. When you get the food, it’s amazing, it’s hot and fresh, so delicious. But again, it’ll be impossible to get a waiter’s attention so good luck trying to get a refill or napkins. If it wasn’t due to the good food, I wouldn’t come here anymore but I love the food!

Also the place is pretty sketchy as well (like ghetto sketchy and feels like any minute there’s gonna be a shooting or stabbing, so maybe don’t come here during the weekend nights).
