Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

Okay, so don't get me wrong: I LOVE their pizza - but if you're looking for some delicious Fettuccine Alfredo, don't come here!!

First time I ordered pizza (two years ago) from here, it was great! Nothing wrong.

Second time (a month ago), once again, nothing wrong with the pizza, but my friend and I did dump out some of the butter from the Alfredo and thought it was delicious either way.

THIRD TIME (two weeks ago) was when I was not happy. Again, pizza was great, but it took over 40 minutes when they said it would take 20...we love their pizza and said, "okay, so all we have to do for the next time is call in before we get here so by the time we get here, it's ready!"

TODAY, we did just that. Ordered the Fettuccine ONLY ahead of time. When we got there....omg THE FREAKING BUTTER. I know Fettuccine is NOT healthy, but does there really have to be that much butter?? Seriously?!? You see, they serve it in a little aluminum pan, and with that I was able to see how much BUTTER they were asking me to eat; it looked like a half-filled pool the pasta was swimming in! So this time we did return the food - they made us another one. I have convinced myself that there was less butter in that one, but we still took out the pasta out of the pan and dumped the butter that was still soaking the pasta. We didn't even bother to return it that time.

SUMMARY: If you want PIZZA - GO FOR IT! Looking for PASTA? Don't you dare step in there!

I have given them a couple of shots to improve, but it just gets worse and worse.

P.S Also, there customer service is not THAT great. I swear I felt frustration from the crew when we sent...

jesus you guys! how can you think its ok, to serve, whats advertised as " chicago deep dish" or " pizza" , in general? you attached your ROSSATTI name to this! someone OK'd this FRENCH BOULE WITH CANED STEWED TOMATOES, as ITALIAN? CHIGAGOAN? DEEPDISH PIZZA? RED SAUCE? I GOTTA THINK THAT A DEAD RELATIVE, IS ROLLING IN THEIR GRAVE, OVER THIS OK' D RECIPE. ITS NOT A RECIPE FROM NORTH OR SOUTH, OR CHOGAGO OR NEW YORK OR ANYTHING THAT ANY ITALIAN OR SCICILIAN OR NEPOLITAN OR , OR, OR, COULD STOMACHE! IVE EATEN THERE! YOUR FOOD IS GOOD! THE NAME IS GREAT! WELL ESTABLISHED AND FAIRLY RELIABLE! THATS WHY I DONT GET THIS PIE! IT AINT CHEAP BUT I EXPECTED SOMETHING TASTEING LIKE PIZZA! EVEN BAD PIZZA MAYBE. THIS WASNT EVEN THAT! IT HAS GREAT CHEEZE! GODAMN BETTER HAVE AT LEAST THAT! BUT NOTHING ELSE RESEMBLES ANYTHING ELSE OTHER THAT A BIG SLOPPY FRENCH BOULE FILLED WITH STEWED TOMATOES AND MOZZARELLA . TELL ME THOS ISNT THE RED SAUCE YOU USE IN THE REGULAR PIES? MAYBEE ITS BEEN TOO LONG OR YOU CHANGED HANDS AND IM NOT TALKING TO A ROSSATTI , AND IF SO, IM SORRY. SKIP IT! BUT THIS PIE NEEDS MORE THAN AN OVERHAUL, PAISAN! one mans opinion. ( calabrian crazy mamas cook opinion also. ) please, give us a good alternative to malnatis deepdish, wich is great except the crust! if you dont got great crust, then you are opwn up a dominoes.) sorry but, bad food with italian name attached to it bad for everyone, italian or not! get me? ill try again...

Worst Customer Service! Called to order and Gloria was rude I was nervous she didn’t get my order correctly as she was constantly interrupting me through the call I asked her to read it back and she made it very obvious about her displeasure, she stated the food would be delivered with an hour. After waiting an hour I called back to see where the food was, she told me it’s barely an hour and it’s on it’s way. We waited another 20 minuets before it arrived. Meanwhile I am on the phone with a manger letting him know how upset I am. The delivery guy pulls up and takes our food from out of the bed of his truck including our sodas, it is 100 degrees outside! Told him we wanted to check the food first and said we were on the phone with the manger he informed us he was the GM. I started to explain what happened as he stared at me uninterested and bothered by my dissatisfaction. Meanwhile I can hear the manager in the phone talking to Gloria about how I said she was rude. Neither the manager or the GM should handle complaints this way. Asked for our fries to be crispy and they were cold and under cooked, only kept the food because we were starving after waiting an hour and 20 minuets for cheeseburgers. This is the worst display of customer service I have ever experienced. I have read multiple reviews mentioning the same problems and the same girl yet she has not been talked to. We took two bites and threw the food away as it was cold...
