I came to Arizona for a graduation. While in the Arizona Airport, I decide to stop at the Shake Shack to get a burger, fries and a beer. The associate told me since I have an alcoholic beverage, I had to stay in there area.
Suddenly, I realize I did not have my phone, ok, panic mode. I put the beer back, and proceded to look for my phone. I went to one of the terminals to ask if there was a security person in the area. I was relieved, once the custodian person rendered me my phone.
One of the employees chased me down, not to hand me my food, but to retrieve the beer she thought I had took.
I said, Ma'am you didn't have to chase me down you could have placed my food to the side, my focus was finding my phone.
She then tells me, "Too many people take beer from the area." Really Really, why would I pay for a full meal to just take a beer that I paid for. Then she begins to curse me telling me how proficient she is with her job.
Only in a smoking state, this will pass, the cannabis keeps the people honest, and she honestly...
Read moreAs we were waiting behind another customer as he was ordering there were 4 people behind the grill, three of which were loudly arguing/refusing/complaining that they don't want to help customers (go to another register). One woman, very tall Caucasian woman, finally slowly walked up to another registered and asked to take our order then promptly began talking to another employee while we waited for her to actually take our order. I ordered a strawberry shake, she said "we don't have any shakes, we have half hour til close". They were all talking to one another loudly about other than work related topics. Really just a disappointing experience all around. How do you have a shake shack that closes the shake machine down even one minute before closing. Also after we sat down at our terminal we saw the same woman as mentioned above, tell half the people I'm line, sorry, we're closed, she simply put a string gate in in front of them, after they'd already been standing there...
Read moreFirst they made a mistake and charged me for two burgers instead of one. I didn’t notice until they hand me my order and there were two burgers. I told them it was supposed to be one and the cashier guy who seemed 15 yo called his manager and explained the situation for a refund. She just took the extra burger and threw it in trash. That was a $12 burger that she just throw away right in-front of me. I have worked in restaurants for years and if there was a mistake from our end, first I apologize and second i ask whether they would like to have the extra food. There is no reason to waste food like that. It was clearly a mistake from their end. I was already anxious as it was getting close to my boarding time and i had to deal with this refund. The manager who was this short lady was just not the vibe. I know restaurant and fast food job is tough and i been there but her just throwing the extra burger that they made by mistake away was...
