Giant Coffee — Restaurant in Phoenix

I usually stop at this coffee shop when I fly in from California and the service has always been amazing — the two girls who normally take my order are always so welcoming and always remember my order , and they make my drinks perfectly.

However, my experience the other morning was disappointing. There was a new employee I didn’t recognize working the counter. She was leaned over the register on her phone when I walked up. She looked up without greeting me, didn’t acknowledge me, and asked what I wanted in a very rude tone. While the two girls I know came out and greeted me warmly (as they always do), the girl at the counter raised her voice at me and even got upset because I forgot to press a tip option.

The other two employees truly saved the experience with their kindness and professionalism, but the girl with glasses at the counter gave me such a negative impression that I felt I needed to share this feedback. I hope management can address this, because I normally look forward to...

Spending hours waiting to board your flight is never fun. However, when you need a pick-me-up, coffee is always my answer.

Instead of going to the big chain coffee shops, I like to try something different.

I walked up to the counter and was greeted with a smile. I asked if they had something on the menu, as I didn't see it. She pointed it out on the menu to me, as I had simply missed it. I laughed and said I had been in the airport too long. She smiled and said it was ok.

I ordered my drink, and just a few minutes another nice lady brought my drink out to me.

I've only purchased the cold brew with half n half and apple strudel and they were excellent! Cold brew is strong and has great depth and flavor. Wayyy better than Starbucks (I avoid it if possible) and the cold brew is stronger/seems more concentrated than Peet's cold brew.
